Shopping and Side Quests in Lestallem

Head north-east from the hotel to find Sypert Sundries. This shop offers basic curatives and accessories like the Star Pendant, Raindow Pendant, Moon Pendant, Earth Pendant, and Golden Hourglass, all priced at 3,000 Gil. Smelling Salts cost 50 Gil and Maiden’s Kiss costs 100 Gil.

Proceed north down the alley west of Sypert Sundries, then turn west to reach a market area. The southern-most merchant is the Tostwell Grill. Interacting with the owner updates your map and allows you to purchase Offal Stew for 1,350 Gil and Spicy Skewers for 7,200 Gil. These meals will inspire Ignis to devise the “Lestallum Steweed Tripe” and “Seasoned Midgardsormr” recipes, respectively. Tostwell Grill also offers hunts: Avenge the Anglers (Level 24, **), Ruler of the Brave Skies (Level 30, ***), Off with their Heads! (Level 31, ***), Disquieted Queens (Level 38, ***), The Web-Weaving Princesses (Level 41, ***), and *In a Heat Haze of Glory (Level 52, ****), the latter only available after Chapter 7.

Continue north to the Prissock General Store, which sells ingredients. Purchasing Fine Gighee Ham (400 Gil) inspires the “Charcuterie on Toast” recipe, and Cygillan Crab (300 Gil) inspires the “Sweet & Spicy Cygillan Crab” recipe. You can also start the quest “Van, Interrupted” by talking to the owner about a delivery vehicle attacked by monsters. Other ingredients include Gigantoad Steak (520 Gil), Garulessa Steak (670 Gil), Griffon Breast (3,200 Gil), Midgardsomr Shank (2,400 Gil), Shieldshears Claw (180 Gil), Shier Tumeric (250 Gil), Hulldagh Nutmeg (600 Gil), Cleigne Wheat (100 Gil), Malmashroom (1,000 Gil), Smoking Wood (310 Gil). East of this store, on a stall, you can find the Ebony Sticker decal.

Next is Veenons Trading. The older merchant sells accessories like the Bulletproof Suit (5,000 Gil), Fireproof Inners (3,000 Gil), Warm Inners (3,000 Gil), Insulated Inners (3,000 Gil), Styling Gel (1,000 Gil), White Sneakers (1,000 Gil), and Bandage (1,000 Gil). The grandson offers the Cactuar Model key item for 1,000 Gil and starts the quest “Mind the Trap” when discussing a deal with a hunter who has gone incommunicado.

Further along is Furloch Farms, selling expensive ingredients such as Behemoth Tenderloin (3,200 Gil), Zu Tender (4,800 Gil), Kujata Marrow (2,700 Gil), Kettier Ginger (600 Gil), Allural Shallot (800 Gil), Saxham Rice (200 Gil), Fine Cleigne Wheat (980 Gil), Chocobean (100 Gil), Eos Green Peas (30 Gil), Beetroot (200 Gil), Sweet Pepper (50 Gil), Garlic (100 Gil), Wild Onion (100 Gil), and Leiden Potato (40 Gil). Interacting with the quest icon nearby starts the side quest “On the Hunt for a Harvest”.

North of the market, near stairs leading to the power plant, search a bench for the Coernix Oil Sticker.
