More Side Quests in Leide

Cid Sophiar, Master Mechanic: Talk to Cid in Hammerhead. He offers to upgrade the Drain Lance into a Drain Lance II if you bring him a Metal Scrap.

Reward: EXP 500, Drain Lance II

A Better Engine Blade: After upgrading the Drain Lance, talk to Cid again. He offers to upgrade the Engine Blade into an Engine Blade II if you bring him a Rusted Bit.

Reward: EXP 500, Engine Blade II

Subsequent Cid Quests: After completing the above two quests, further upgrades for the Drain Lance II, Engine Blade II, Auto Crossbow, and Bioblaster become available. These require items like Coeurl Whiskers, Glass Gemstone, Cactuar Needle, and Dynamo, which may not be obtainable yet.

The Ever Regal Regalia (Part 1): Speak with Cindy near the gas pumps in Hammerhead to start this quest. It involves finding rare car wax, with the objective located north-west of Hammerhead.

Scenic Delivery: Interact with the newspaper at Takka’s Pit Stop. Takka tasks you with fetching a Lucian Tomato. These can be found north-east of Hammerhead near a pit containing a Bandersnatch, or purchased from Aldare's shop in Galdin Quay.

Reward: EXP 300, Gighee Ham x2, Leiden Potato x2, Sheep Milk x2, Funguar x2

Hunters and Gatherers: After completing Scenic Delivery, interact with Takka’s newspaper again. This quest requires a Daggerquill Breast, obtainable from Daggerquills encountered in the next main mission or by hunting them in the western-most valley of The Three Valleys.

Reward: EXP 500, Cleigne Wheat x5, Dualhorn Steak x5, Leiden Pepper x5

Emergency Delivery: A third quest from Takka's newspaper, but it cannot be completed until access to Duscae is gained.

Aspiring Artisan: After resting at an outpost and receiving a call from Dino, return to Galdin Quay and speak with him. He tasks you with recovering an Amethyst from a gem deposit located east of Longwythe Peak.

Reward: EXP 200
