Navigate the maze-like Crestholm Channels in Final Fantasy XV. This guide details how to find consoles, unlock shortcuts, and collect valuable items.
Walkthrough
- 1From the starting ladder, head south-west. At the fork, turn north-west for a Chrome Bit. Then, head south-east.
- 2Climb the first stairs to a walkway. Search a north-east dead-end for an Elixir. Continue south-east to find and activate the first console.
- 3Continue south-east past a locked gate. Drop off the walkway and fight two Bussemands. Note the south-east slope is a one-way trip.
- 4Search a low section of wall to the south-east of the slope to find a hidden loot spot (Red Choker).
- 5Crawl back north-west through the low chute and climb the stairs you skipped earlier. Head into a tunnel to the south-east.
- 6Follow the tunnel until you find a branch to the west, which is a dead-end with a Hi-Potion.
- 7Continue south-east down the main tunnel. You'll need to drop down into a new tunnel.
- 8Turn north-east in the new tunnel and crawl under a low section to find an Oracle Ascension Coin.
- 9Return to the larger tunnel and continue south-west to a ramp up to the north-west. Defeat the Gelatin foes.
- 10Advance north-east, then north-west around a corner. Kill three Bussemands.
- 11Continue into a smaller hallway to the north-east, go up stairs, and cross a metal walkway.
- 12Go up another flight of stairs. This passage ends with a drop-off into a tunnel below. Defeat four Gelatin monsters.
- 13Turn south-west to find a loot spot (Mythril Shaft) before a gate. This gate now opens, providing access back to the first channel near the first console.
- 14Head back through the gate. To unlock another shortcut, head north-west. Turn north-east around a corner and grab a loot spot (Rusted Bit). Open a cage door, leading to the tunnel north-east of the initial ladder.
- 15Return to the previous split and head south-east into a four-way intersection.
- 16The north-east path is a dead-end with an unopenable cage door.
- 17The south-east passage is also a dead-end with an unopenable cage door. Loot a Rusted Bit nearby and fight Bussemands and Gelatin.
- 18In the north-western corner of this south-eastern tunnel, find “Sylvester’s Map Piece D”.
Tips
- Bussemands can steal items, so be careful.
- The multi-level layout and lack of elevators make navigation difficult.
- One-way ramps will send you deeper into the dungeon.
- Consoles must be activated to reach the deepest parts of the dungeon.
- Some doors require activation from the other side to open.
