- 1First things first, you'll need to chat with the Studium Researcher. They're hanging out in Labyrinthos at coordinates X: 21.8, Y: 17.2. The nearest Aetheryte to get there is The Archeion.
- 2After you've spoken with the researcher, they'll ask you to find a lost Carbuncle. Grab the guiding crystal they give you and head over to coordinates X: 9.3, Y: 37.1.
- 3Once you're at the spot, you'll find the little fella. To get it to calm down, you need to use the /soothe emote. Just type that into your chat window and hit enter!
- 4With the Carbuncle soothed, it'll follow you. Now, just escort it back to the Studium Researcher at the original location (X: 21.8, Y: 17.2) to complete the quest.
