Hey there! Ready to tackle another side quest in Endwalker? This one's called 'Booking Books' and it's for Level 80 players. Don't worry, it's pretty straightforward. We'll guide you through finding some mischievous books and putting them to sleep!

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First things first, you'll need to find Isilswys. She's hanging out in Old Sharlayan at coordinates (X: 4.8, Y: 12.1). The closest Aetheryte to her is The Studium, so head there if you're not sure how to get around.
  2. 2
Once you chat with Isilswys, she'll tell you about some 'vicious volumes' that need a good nap. Your job is to find five of these books and sprinkle them with some special sleeping powder.
  3. 3
Here are the locations for each of the five vicious volumes:
    • (X: 8.0, Y: 10.1)
  4. 4
    (X: 8.2, Y: 9.5)
  5. 5
    (X: 9.0, Y: 9.7)
  6. 6
    (X: 5.9, Y: 13.2)
  7. 7
    (X: 5.4, Y: 13.7)
  8. 8
When you interact with each Viscous Volume, you'll get a prompt to place a marker over it. Make sure that marker is right on top of the book to successfully administer the sleeping powder.
  9. 9
After you've put all five books to sleep, head back to Isilswys. She'll be waiting for you at the Noumenon. Hand over the books, and you'll be done with this quest!
Tips
  • Make sure you have the sleeping powder item in your inventory before you start hunting for the books, though the quest usually gives it to you automatically.
  • Keep an eye on your map as you navigate Old Sharlayan; the coordinates are pretty precise, but it's always good to have a visual reference.

You'll get a nice chunk of EXP (between 168,300 and 190,575) and 735 Gil for your efforts.
