First up, you need to find Kancana. She's hanging out in Thavnair at coordinates X: 25.3, Y: 31.2. The closest Aetheryte to her is Yedlihmad. Chat with her to get the ball rolling.

After Kancana gives you the rundown, your next task is to head over to X: 18.9, Y: 33.7 and speak with an Arkasodara fisherman.

Next, you'll need to find and talk to Ogul. Once you do, she'll start following you, so make sure she's with you for the next step.

Now, still at X: 18.9, Y: 33.7, you need to speak with a few different fishermen while Ogul is accompanying you. Look for the Conflicted, Drowsy, and Idling Fisher nearby and chat with each of them.

After you've spoken to all the fishermen, make your way back to the Arkasodara fisherman you spoke to earlier. You'll be summarizing what you found out.

The quest then sends you to search for Ogul. Head to X: 19.2, Y: 29.3. You'll find Ogul near a monster. Speak with her, and she'll ask you to take care of any monsters you find in the area.

Time to do some monster hunting! From Ogul's spot, head north to X: 17.3, Y: 26.1. You'll see some purple smoke there – interact with it. This will spawn two Wandering Piacal monsters. Defeat them both.

Once the monsters are dealt with, you just need to report back to the Arkasodara fisherman. He's the one who started this whole thing, so find him and let him know you're done.

You'll get a good chunk of EXP, between 168,300 and 190,575.
You'll also receive 1,175 Gil.
This quest also unlocks the next quest in the chain: 'Ogul Repays Her Favors' (Level 80).
