The Magus Sisters Boss (Tower of Zot)

Learn how to defeat the Magus Sisters boss in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker's Tower of Zot dungeon. Master mechanics like Samsara, Thunderous Tempest, and Insatiable Flame.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The Magus Sisters are fought as a group.
• Cinduruva must be defeated first to prevent her from reviving her sisters.

Phases:

1. Initial Encounter: Fight Cinduruva alone. She will cast Samsara, a group-wide attack dealing light damage.
2. Summoning Sisters: Cinduruva summons Minduruva and Sanduruva. They form a triangle formation.
3. Delta Attack Sequence: The sisters will call out one of three attack patterns:
• Delta Attack, Manusya Reflect, Manusya Faith: This is a precursor to a flurry of attacks. Pay attention to their callouts.
• Thunderous Tempest: Sisters cast large line-AoEs and circular AoEs. Minduruva casts Manusya Thunder III, splitting into cardinal directions. Ends with a stack marker.
• Glacial Ice: A radial-AoE appears in the center, requiring players to move to the edges. Conal-AoEs and a Line-AoE also occur. A second radial-AoE appears at the end.
• Insatiable Flame: A donut-AoE appears in the center, followed by a large line-AoE. More line-AoEs follow. A donut-AoE appears on Minduruva, followed by targetable AoEs on all players.
4. Solo Attacks: After the Delta Attack sequence, sisters use individual abilities:
• Minduruva: Casts Manusya Bio (tankbuster) and Dhrupad (inflicts unremovable debuffs on three party members).
• Sanduruva: Casts Prapti Siddhi (targeted line-AoE on two party members).
• Cinduruva: Casts Samsara again.

Strategy:

• Start the battle with Shields and Regens to mitigate Samsara's initial damage.
• When the sisters are preparing a Delta Attack sequence, watch their callouts to anticipate the pattern.
• Healers should prepare group-wide Shields or Regens before Delta Attacks.
• Dodge the various AoEs during Thunderous Tempest, Glacial Ice, and Insatiable Flame. Stick together for the stack marker in Thunderous Tempest. Move to the edges during Glacial Ice's initial radial-AoE. Spread out for targetable AoEs during Insatiable Flame.
• Be prepared to heal through the solo attacks, especially the tankbuster Manusya Bio.
• Focus target Cinduruva first to prevent her from reviving her sisters.
• After Cinduruva is defeated, focus on the next sister, then use a Limit Break on the third.
• Tanks should use defensive cooldowns for Manusya Bio and be ready for multi-attacks.
• Healers will have a more taxing role due to the constant AoE damage and debuffs.
