Frameworker Boss (Smileton)

Master the Frameworker boss fight in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker's Smileton dungeon! Learn mechanics like Circular Saw, Leap Forward, and Omnidimensional Onslaught.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Frameworker deals moderate damage overall, with Steel Beam being the only heavy hit.
• The boss is relatively simple, and even a dead Healer can be survived if the Tank uses their sustain tools.

Phases:

1. Opening: Frameworker starts with Circular Saw, a party-wide attack. Use shields and heal up.
2. Leap Forward: Frameworker leaps, indicated by black arrows. Move away from the arrows to avoid the large AoE upon landing.
3. Print Workers: Frameworker tethers to adds that mimic Leap Forward. Avoid their arrows and AoEs. The first set usually targets the center.
4. Omnidimensional Onslaught: Frameworker uses cone AoEs at cardinal directions, followed by intercardinal directions. Stand in an intercardinal spot to dodge the first set, then move to a safe spot for the second.
5. More Print Workers: After Omnidimensional Onslaught, you'll face another set of Print Workers, with each worker leaping to a different location. Pick a safe spot away from all arrows.
6. Combined Leap: The final Print Workers phase has the Frameworker itself perform a Leap Forward after the workers' leaps. Stay mobile to avoid all three attacks.
7. Sustained Fight: Outside of Steel Beam (Tankbuster), the rest of the fight repeats these mechanics.

Strategy:

• Tanking: Keep Frameworker near its starting position in the middle of the arena. This makes dodging the Print Workers' Leap Forward attacks much easier. Use defensive cooldowns for Steel Beam.
• Healing: Most damage comes from Circular Saw and Steel Beam. The key is avoiding mechanics like Leap Forward and Print Workers. Stick with the party to avoid AoEs. If the Healer dies, the Tank can often survive using their own sustain abilities due to the boss's moderate damage output.
• Damage Dealers: Focus on avoiding the mechanics. The boss's damage isn't overwhelming if its attacks are dodged.

• Completing Smileton dungeon rewards experience points and gear.
