Walkthrough
- 1Run off the roof and dive into the water to avoid falling damage. Ensure the Trooper is dealt with.
- 2Find two crates in the water containing a MEDKIT and some ROCKETS.
- 3Head west to find a Terminal in the corner. It has a 20% Strength (Str) Keypad, but the code is 5868.
- 4Travel North to the guard tower. If Troopers are still present, they carry a LAW (Light Anti-armor Weapon) that can destroy MJ12 Bots.
- 5Climb a large pipe to the South to reach a platform with two crates, each containing another LAW.
- 6Head North, ignoring the locked door to the Command Centre, and turn East.
- 7Take down the MJ12 Trooper shooting Tranq. Darts.
- 8Find a crate with a MEDKIT and the Trooper carries an EMP GRENADE.
- 9Press East towards the Security Bay, destroying any MJ12 Bots with your GEP Gun or LAWs.
- 10Steer clear of the Command Centre's front entrance, which is guarded by two MJ12 Commandos.
- 11Once bots are destroyed, Jock will announce the Communication Building is open.
- 12Go North to find the entrance to Vandenberg, guarded by two MJ12 Troopers. Sneak past or disable them. Approaching from the West allows for melee takedowns.
- 13Run down and collect items near the front gate of Vandenberg.
- 14In the guard booth, find a DataCube mentioning an army guy leaving Vandenberg to the X-51 scientists, and a GAS GRENADE.
- 15Return to the Communications building.
- 16Find the Scientist, Tony Mares, who will mention a colleague with the key to the Control Room where Gary Savage is located.
- 17Search the lockers in the building: one contains a DataCube with login info (TUNNEL01/OMEGA2A), another holds DARTS and FLARE DARTS, a third has a MULTITOOL and an UPGRADE CANISTER. The middle lockers have a 70% Str Lock. A SAWED-OFF SHOTGUN is on the bunk bed.
- 18In the adjacent room, find the entrance to the utility tunnels. Locate a MEDKIT, three FLARES, BUCKSHOT SHELLS, two BIOELECTRIC CELLS, and a 7.62x51MM AMMO clip.
- 19Before entering the tunnel, find a ladder going up to the roof. A dead MJ12 sniper is there with a SNIPER RIFLE and 30.06 AMMO.
- 20In the tunnels, deal with two Model 2 Arcbots.
- 21On the West wall, find a panel with buttons labeled 1, 2, and 3. Only button 1 can be reset, but there is nothing to reset currently.
- 22Find a Terminal: TUNNEL01/OMEGA2A disables an upcoming camera and turret.
- 23The Generator Room entrance is protected by an 80% Str Keypad; the code is not provided.
- 24Bypass the blue tripwire security system by breaking a 90% Str lock on the door to Maintenance Access, opening the door to the radiation room, or opening the grate of a crawling space.
- 25Enter the flooded generator room through the grate.
- 26Find a MEDKIT in the Southwest corner and a LAW in the Northeast.
- 27Two bodies are floating in the water. One beneath yellow pipes holds two BIOELECTRIC CELLS. Near this body, in a transformer, find TECH GOGGLES.
Tips:
- There is a bug in at least the GotYE version where inputting the code 5868 for the first Backup Power Terminal grants 100 skill points every time, allowing for infinite skill points.
- In the GotYE version, it is possible to walk through a wall to the left of the Medkit crate in the area before the Security Bay; this is a bug.
