At the statue base, you'll find a 20% Str Keypad. It's best to deal with the two armed guards here. Use a Prod or Dragon's Tooth on the Commando from behind, then take down the Trooper before he reaches the Alarm Panel. A STEALTH PISTOL is located at the statue's base.

Find the stairs to the Southeast. To the South is the cafeteria, where you can listen to two dialogues between scientists. Pay attention to Dr. Lundquist, who, despite having no major scenes, is revealed by DataCubes to be in charge of the research facility and in contact with Simons. She is also pregnant.

A DataCube in the cafeteria contains the code 525. Lundquist operates the Universal Constructor.

In an office, overhear a conversation between Psionics personnel and Dr. Trellaine from another VersaLife wing.

In the armory, find a case of 10MM AMMO and BALLISTIC ARMOR on the top shelf. There's a Terminal here, but codes will be obtained later.

This area contains essential DataCubes behind sturdy Locks, guarded by five MJ12 troopers and scientists. Using Lockpicks will cause scientists to panic and trigger MJ12 Lab Security. To access DataCubes without alerting everyone:

Attach a LAM to a cabinet and shoot it (exploits AI).

If your hardness is over 50, use the Dragon's Tooth to destroy the cabinets (requires Combat Strength level 4 and Advanced Low-Tech). This method does not alert NPCs.

Engage in a shootout. Use Gas Grenades in the hallway and armory to incapacitate armed enemies. Alternatively, barricade rooms with Swivel Chairs and Trashcans.

Loot the five MJ12 troopers; they carry nothing significant. The cabinets can be opened with Lockpicks or explosives. The armory cabinet has a 50% Str Lock and contains a MINI-CROSSBOW, FLARE DARTS, a PLASMA CLIP, and a DataCube with the Terminal login: MJ12/SECURITY. Use this on the Terminal to disable cameras and open two doors.

The meeting room cabinet has a 50% Str Lock and contains a BIOELECTRIC CELL, TECH GOGGLES, and two DataCubes. One DataCube has the code for the magnetic testing chamber: 5878. The other has a master password: DAMOCLES, usable with key VersaLife staff.

A hatch in the bathroom leads further into the laboratories, but a better route exists.

Return to the large red hallway with the MJ12 statue and take the North stairs. You'll reach a glass walkway overlooking patrolling Men in Black, science experiments, a Woman in Black with a Dragon's Tooth, and an alien.

Ride the elevator up. Ignore or disable the Man in Black. A DataCube mentions the MChow account and Lundquist's root access, allowing you to deduce MCHOW/DAMOCLES and MLUNDQUIST/DAMOCLES. ADONOVAN and MBATES also work with the DAMOCLES password. Pick up the MAGNETIC AUGMENTATION CHAMBER NANOKEY. The Terminal offers the same options as the armory Terminal.

Return to the MJ12 statue. The Terminal opened a hole in the floor leading down. The Keypad code was 12.
