    Exit the sewers; there are no enemies. Enter the building next to the manhole using the two small Metal Crates. Break the glass.

    Inside, collect a 150 CREDIT CHIT and find a 100 CREDIT CHIT on a body. Use the beam to climb up one level.

    Collect two FLARES, a LOCKPICK from a crate, and the GATEKEEPER'S NANOKEY. You can snipe an MJ12 Commando from the windows.

    Move silently up the stairs to find two to three MJ12 Troopers with Sniper Rifles. These enemies react when one is attacked. A Ballistic Armor or Protection can be helpful. A WP Rocket aimed at the middle of the bridge can eliminate them all. Alternatively, use Cloak to pass them into the next room; they are stationary unless alarmed.

    In the next room, find a Terminal. You can Hack it to shut down the Military Bot below. The login is MJ12/MJ12, but the information is not available here. Collect three FLARES and a 100 CREDIT CHIT.

    If you defeated the soldiers, break the crates to find a LOCKPICK and a MULTITOOL. Collect two LAMS and 30.06 AMMO from the bodies. A newspaper here implies Mead is suffering from the Gray Death, enabling MJ12 to enforce nationwide martial law.

    Descend to find a painting behind a window, protected by an Alarm Panel and a turret. Breaking the glass activates the turret. You can slice the Alarm Panel with the Dragon's Tooth if powerful enough. Otherwise, use Multitools to bypass the turret after dealing with the upstairs Troopers. Break the glass to collect TRANQUILIZER DARTS, FLARE DARTS, a MINI-CROSSBOW, and a SNIPER RIFLE. The Terminal inside controls only the local camera and turret.

    Head Northwest. Dive under the bridge with the snipers if they are still alive. Reach the building ahead to avoid the Delta-2 Peacebringer if active. Cloak and/or Radar (your minimap with nearby blips and threats marked) Transparency (a display showing nearby enemies and objectives on your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap), or Heads-Up Display) are useful but not essential.

    In the building, find a Public Computer Terminal with a Bulletin about the Cathedral of Payens.

    Head North towards the cathedral bridge. Check the Metro station first, which is patrolled by an MJ12 Trooper with a Sniper Rifle and a Commando. Sneak past them to the North.

    An MJ12 Commando patrols the bridge. If you have the Swimming skill at Advanced, dive into the water and emerge at the Old Well. Otherwise, use Rebreathers, Aqualung, or healing to survive the damage. This submerged tunnel is the quickest way to solve the mission.

    Defeat the Commando and continue North to reach the cathedral. Bravo-3 Peacebringers and MJ12 Troopers patrol the area. Quickly turn East and stick to the shadows. Thermoptic Camo is ideal here, but avoidance is also possible.
Tips
  • Djibriel's First Time Player Pick: Upgrade the Pistol skill to Advanced.
  • The login info for the Terminal is technically SPORTINGGOODSSECURITY/SPORTINGGOODSSECURITY, but the Terminal cannot accept these long passwords.
  • The submerged tunnel via the water is the quickest way to complete the mission.
  • Cloak and Radar Transparency are useful for navigating past enemies.
