Walkthrough for Part 27 of Deus Ex Remastered. Includes steps to obtain LAMs, navigate the Mole People's tunnels, find hidden rooms, and acquire key items like the MOLEPEOPLE BATHROOM NANOKEY.
Walkthrough
- 1After defeating the initial enemy, loot him for two ZYME VIALS, a PISTOL, a COMBAT KNIFE, and some CIGARETTES.
- 2Give Zyme to Don the Junkie for information. You can disable him and take the Zyme back, but it's not beneficial.
- 3Go to the Men's Room and give Zyme to Lenny for a LAM and 100 SP. You can disable Lenny and reclaim the Zyme, but it's not very useful later.
- 4Return to El Rey for another LAM. If you only knocked Rock out, he'll be unpleasant but it has no lasting consequences.
- 5You can obtain a second LAM from El Rey by disabling him or knocking out his guards. He will offer a LAM for his life.
- 6If you missed the 100 SP from Lenny, you can get it by buying the LAM from El Rey or by taking out Rock for him. Forcing El Rey to give you the LAM yields nothing. If your inventory is full when El Rey gives you the LAM, JC will chuckle, which is the only time he laughs in the game.
- 7Find the cave-in to the Northeast. Use a LAM or the GEP Gun to clear the debris.
- 8Past the corridor, you'll encounter steam. You can jump through it (taking minor damage) or climb pipes to open a 10% Strength Locked grate. Close both valves to open the fresh water supply for Mole People and get 100 SP ACCOMPLISHMENT BONUS.
- 9Return to Charlie for the code to the Mole People's tunnels: 5482. This completes the SECONDARY GOAL and grants 25 SP.
- 10The 60% Strength Keypad is below the sink in the Ladies' Room. Enter 5482 to open a secret passage, granting 100 SP PROGRESS BONUS for finding the Mole People Hideout.
- 11Enter the Mole People's tunnels. Avoid being seen by the NSF. Crawl South and move silently.
- 12You'll hear Kevin Bradley. Find the brick mechanism in the Southwest shack behind cardboard boxes to open a secret room, granting 25 SP for learning about the mechanism. The Run Silently Augmentation is helpful here.
- 13Entering the hidden room grants 100 SP ACCOMPLISHMENT BONUS for finding the secret NSF room.
- 14Instead of shooting the NSF leader, talk to him to make him and his men surrender, granting 100 SP for negotiating surrender.
- 15Raid the area for the MOLEPEOPLE BATHROOM NANOKEY, a PEPPER CARTRIDGE, a PISTOL, a FLAMETHROWER, a CROWBAR, a LOCKPICK, and THERMOPTIC CAMO.
- 16A Terrorist in the Southeast corner carries a LOCKPICK, and another patrolling South carries an EMP GRENADE.
- 17A Mole Kid will inform you that the NSF plans to shoot you at the helicopter base. Two NSF discuss boobytraps based on advice from Paul.
- 18Head North and North-West. Past some pillars and before a burning barrel, crawl through a hole to find an armed LAM, a BIOELECTRIC CELL, a MEDKIT, an EMP, and four FLARES, granting 38 SP EXPLORATION BONUS for finding a secret room.
- 19In the Ladies' room, find a MULTITOOL in a crate. Use the Nanokey to open the Men's room, granting 100 SP PROGRESS BONUS for finding the path to LaGuardia.
- 20Near the water, Alex will contact you. Find an EMP GRENADE in a pipe to your right and a CROWBAR on the ground.
- 21Choose between two paths: the left is guarded by tripwire lasers (disable with 40% Strength Control Panel) or the right path past steam (turn off with a valve behind a 20% Strength Lock). You can also jump over lasers with a Metal Crate.
- 22Continue East. Avoid a camera's sight. Take down an NSF before he reaches an alarm and get his SEWER DOOR NANOKEY.
- 23In the next room, disable tripwire lasers with a 40% Strength Control Panel or shoot a TNT box. Use the Button to extend a bridge and jump across the falling grates.
- 24Ignore the water below as it's an alternate route. In the corridor past the water, find and disarm an EMP GRENADE.
- 25In the next room, you can see two Security Bots through a gap in a large rock. Use the GEP Gun, LAMs, or EMP Grenades to disable them.
Tips
- The Run Silently Augmentation is very helpful when navigating the NSF-occupied tunnels.
- The GEP Gun is the most effective weapon against the Security Bots, but LAMs and EMP Grenades are also viable options.
- Be mindful of tripwire lasers and environmental hazards like steam.
- Looting enemies and searching containers is crucial for acquiring valuable items like Nanokeys, ammo, and medical supplies.
