Part 56

Navigate Part 56 of Deus Ex Remastered, covering Hell's Kitchen, New York City. Includes objectives, skill points, item locations, and optional Smuggler interactions.

Walkthrough:

1. Hell's Kitchen, New York City
   • Skill Points: 1230 total (100 for meeting Harley Filben, 100 for obtaining a contact from Vinny, 60 AREA LOCATION BONUS for entering MJ12 Sewer Base a third time, 900 for meeting Stanton Dowd, 20 AREA LOCATION BONUS for entering Smuggler's Den a third time, 50 for buying Rockets from Smuggler).
   • Augmentation Canisters: None.
   • Weapon Modifications: Accuracy.
2. Primary Goal: Get to the Underworld Tavern and meet with Harley Filben.
   • Note: The Game of the Year Edition lacks background music in this level.
   • Climb down the roof on the North side to enter Paul's old apartment.
   • In the apartment: Find a MEDKIT in the living room. The secret compartment (keypad 4321 behind the painting) contains a BIOELECTRIC CELL, a MULTITOOL, and 10MM AMMO. The computer has no emails with PDENTON/CHAMELEON login.
   • In the hallway outside, at the top of the stairs: Find a PROD CHARGER.
   • At the bottom of the elevator shaft: Find a GAS GRENADE and a clip of 7.62x51MM AMMO.
   • In the hotel office: Find a 50 CREDIT CHIT and a useless HOTEL ROOM NANOKEY.
   • On the ground floor (Northwest corner): Find a clip of 7.62x51MM AMMO. Be cautious of two cops who will shoot on sight.
   • The ATM contains 175 Base ATM Value and can be accessed without alerting cops with good timing.
   • The newspaper contains an article by Kwesi Dodi.
   • In the Public Access Panel: Find information stating you are wanted for the murder of Lebedev, Navarre, and Manderley, and mentions the bombing of VersaLife in Hong Kong.
   • Outside the 'Ton Hotel: Behind the crashed car, find two crates containing 10MM AMMO. Quickly return to cover as law enforcement is present.
   • Exit the 'Ton hotel through the window of Paul's room. Place a Metal Crate at the ladder's base for quick ascent, or use Speed Enhancement. In the Northeast corner, among trashcans, find DARTS.
   • Note: Violence spawns UNATCO Troopers. Riot Cops are immune to gaseous attacks.
3. Optional Smuggler Section
   • Make your way to the Smuggler entrance Northeast of the 'Ton Hotel. Give the password and descend.
   • In the parking area: Find a LOCKPICK in a chest, a MULTITOOL in the booth with the Control Panel, and BALLISTIC ARMOR. Jock and Tong will contact you about Smuggler.
   • Talk to Smuggler for available items: ASSAULT SHOTGUN (7500 credits), SABOT SHELLS (750 credits), 6 LAMS (3500 credits). It is not recommended to buy these.
