An eating establishment is being extorted by the Red Arrow gang; you can overhear their conversation with the owner and a dirty cop.

Hilton, near the News Stand Vendor, can provide information about the Triads, but JC needs to learn about them from other NPCs first. Hilton mentions VersaLife manufactured the sword central to the Triad conflict.

Head to the rooftops near the West wall (accessible by jumping while crouching from the restaurant). Travel South to gain 40 SP for discovering the 'Southwest roof Wan Chain market' area.

Observe the interaction between Louis Pan and the female news stand vendor. Examine her DataCube for a map and newspapers. Louis Pan will move Southeast.

Discuss current affairs with the news stand vendor, asking about the Luminous Path and the Red Arrow. She will then mention Maggie Chow.

Talk to Hilton about the Triads and Maggie Chow. The Luminous Path is losing influence and is rumored to have stolen a VersaLife-manufactured sword with nanotech components. Maggie Chow is a former Kung Fu actress with VersaLife ties.

Follow Louis Pan to a compound possibly used by Paul, which might contain Tracer Tong. Overhear the conversation between Louis and Triad Leader Gordon Quick. Talk to Quick for a new mission. Note that Louis Pan may steal from the News Vendor; harming him will displease Quick.

Go to Canal Road (East of Quick's compound entrance).

Witness the conflict between the Luminous Path and the Red Arrow. Head North to a crime scene related to a tunnel collapse. Loot Luminous Path corpses for two LOCKPICKS and two SWORDS. Loot a Police corpse for a HAZMAT SUIT and an ASSAULT RIFLE. Discover the 'Canal Road Crime Scene' for 50 SP.

One of the two cops at the crime scene (facing North) carries a CLIP WEAPON MODIFICATION. Taking him down without alerting others is difficult; using the Riot Prod to taze him multiple times might work without raising alarm.

Return to the Canal Road entrance. The outcome of the gang struggle is random; all combatants carry SWORDS. The ATM contains 100 base value. A LOCKPICK can be found near the soda machines.

Return to the market and head North towards Tonnochi Road.

Follow signs to Tonnochi Road, ignoring the Lucky Money signs.

Take a right turn into a dark corridor and go down the stairs.

Enter a large ship. Find a girl who offers to sell weapon modifications: ACCURACY WEAPON MODIFICATION (750 credits), RELOAD WEAPON MODIFICATION (600 credits), and RECOIL WEAPON MODIFICATION (400 credits).

Near the Ship's Wheel, find three FLARES. Below deck, locate a DataCube mentioning a Repair Bot.
