Part 9

Nioh Part 9 walkthrough: Find Warrior Kodama, defeat Samurai, and loot corpses. Learn enemy tactics and item locations.

Walkthrough:

1. From the start, head right into the shallows of the water, but do not go too far out to avoid dying. Follow the shallows past a rock to find a grave.
2. Continue past the grave, kill the raider guarding a corpse, and loot it. He wields an axe; beware his two-swing attack.
3. Return to dry land and proceed down the path. You will see a building on the right with a corpse nearby. Loot it.
4. Attack the man looking into the building. His companion will join him; use a heavy attack combo, retreat, dodge their attacks, and kill the weakened raider, then the second one.
5. Go around the building, breaking pots for random items, and break the boxes behind it for a corpse.
6. Inside the building has been looted, but there is another corpse past it. To the left, past the building, break a cart in a shed to find a Warrior Kodama. Guide him back to the shrine.
7. Return to the path and head up. Note the corpse to the right, but kill the spear-user in the narrow area first.
8. Continue to an opening. Below and to the left, kill a man checking out a corpse and loot it.
9. Choose to go straight into the wooded area or right into the houses. Go right first. Note the corpse leaning against the wall.
10. Inside the first house on the right, lure out the raider, back away, and kill him. There is a chest inside.
11. Ahead, fight two raiders at once; focus on one at a time. Destroy scarecrows for random items. Find a corpse by following the right house wall to a ledge.
12. Go up the incline. Intercept the patrolling raider from the forest area away from the stronger warrior (Samurai) up the cliff.
13. Draw the Samurai to you, wait for his 4-5 hit combo to end, then attack. Use a grapple ability if you have it to knock him down for a follow-up attack.
14. You can go to the Mayor's House or around to the forest. Before heading back, go to the Mayor's House opening and throw a stone at a raider to draw him out and kill him.
15. Head past the Fire Brazier to drop off the cliff to a small area below. Drop onto a roof from there for another corpse to loot.
16. Drop off the roof and head past the slope (going left from the mansion) down the grassy path. Loot a grave, then a corpse guarded by a patrolling raider. Kill the raider and loot the grave between the trees.
17. From here, head right and IMMEDIATELY go up the incline to the left. By the big tree, find a Swordsman Kodama. Guide him back to the shrine.
18. Go down the incline, continuing right. Loot a grave and a corpse to the left.
19. Turn around, head straight, and kill the bandit. In this rocky area, find a corpse up to the right on the cliff and another to the left.
20. Go past the second corpse and drop down to an area with yet another corpse.
21. Head back to the grave between the trees. To the left are two corpses guarded by a stronger Samurai with a spear. Draw him out, being careful of the archer above him. Retreat to avoid arrows and defeat him. Fighting near a tree can stop some of his sweeping attacks.
22. Loot the two corpses he was guarding, blocking arrows.
23. Head right and kill the archer. You may also need to kill a patrolling guard. Stay out of their attack range and counter.
