Alright, let's tackle Part 27! This is where we face off against Umi-Bozu, a massive, flan-like creature. Don't worry, we've prepped for this. Remember all those bonfires and shrines we lit earlier? They're going to be super useful here, not only for lighting our weapon with fire but also for taking out those pesky Flan enemies that try to join the fight. Umi-Bozu is really weak to FIRE, so keep that in mind.

This fight has two main parts. The first phase has Umi-Bozu as a giant in the sea, mostly shooting water blobs and slamming his tentacle arms. He does have a devastating 'Light Beam' attack that can one-hit kill you, so definitely avoid that at all costs. If you can dodge that and chip away at him, you'll move on to the second phase.

Once you're on the dock with him in phase two, he'll summon two Flan enemies. Your priority here is to get fire on your weapon, use 'Rejuvenate' if you have it, and take out those Flans quickly. After that, focus on Umi-Bozu. His 'Slam' move is a good opportunity: dash twice to the side to avoid it, and his squishy core will be exposed for some serious damage, especially with fire on your weapon.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weakness: FIRE
• Bonfires/Shrines: Can be used to light your weapon with FIRE and damage Flan enemies.

Phases:

1. Phase 1 (Giant in the Sea): Umi-Bozu attacks with water blobs and tentacle slams. Watch out for the 'Light Beam' one-hit kill attack.
2. Phase 2 (On the Dock): Umi-Bozu is smaller and on the dock with you. He summons two Flan enemies. Focus on dealing with them first, then attack Umi-Bozu when his core is exposed after a 'Slam' attack.

Strategy:

• Equip Fire Amulets if you have them.
• Use the bonfires on the dock to imbue your weapon with FIRE.
• In Phase 2, prioritize killing the two summoned Flan enemies before focusing on Umi-Bozu.
• Dodge Umi-Bozu's 'Slam' attack in Phase 2, then attack his exposed core.
• Guard against the 'Tentacle Sweep' in Phase 2 if you can't dodge it.

BOSS MOVES:

• Tentacle Slam: Umi-Bozu slams its arms down. Dodge to the side. You can often get in front of his body to be safe and attack his body or arms.
• Water Shot: Shoots water blobs that do minor damage and inflict the 'Water' status (reduces physical defense). Also creates Yokai Realm patches. Guard if you can't dodge.
• Flop Attack: Occurs after breaking body parts; he rears up and flops down. Try to get behind him or keep away. Blocking is also an option if you have enough Ki.
• Light Beam: A dangerous one-hit kill attack. Umi-Bozu moves his eyes to his mouth – this is your cue to move FAST and dodge out of the way.
• Tentacle Sweep: A Phase 2 attack where he sweeps his tentacles across the dock. It's fast, so guarding is recommended if dodging is difficult.
• Jump Attack: Another Phase 2 move where he jumps and lands, trying to hit you. His body can splay out on landing, causing damage.
