Nioh Part 112 walkthrough for A Meeting on the Other Shore, featuring strategies for the Yuki-onna & Oda Nobunaga boss encounter.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
The mission objective is to duel with Nobunaga and Princess Noh.
  2. 2
This battle is considered one of the hardest in Nioh.
  3. 3
Oda Nobunaga is the faster and more aggressive of the two.
  4. 4
The primary strategy is to separate Oda Nobunaga from Yuki-onna.
  5. 5
Be aware that Yuki-onna may either walk slowly towards you or sprint aggressively when you attempt to bait Oda away.
  6. 6
Never try to engage both enemies at once; divide and conquer is key.
  7. 7
Once Oda is separated, buff up and counter his attacks.
  8. 8
You can use Guardian Spirit (Ki) summons or other "cheese" tactics against Oda when he is alone.
  9. 9
Fighting Oda away from Yuki in the large area is generally easier than facing them together.
Tips
  • Oda's Spear Dash: Oda will bring his spear back, causing it to sparkle, and then dash forward very fast with good range. Recognize the sparkle and dash or roll away to avoid this move and punish him afterward.
  • Oda's Shinka Summon: Oda calls forth his Guardian Spirit for a small area attack in front of him. This attack inflicts a purple earth status effect, increasing your Ki cost. If hit, let the effect wear off, but get behind Oda quickly when he isn't using "Shinka Heal" to be safe.
  • Oda's Shinka Heal: Oda summons Shinka, which applies a regeneration effect to him. This regen is very strong due to Oda's high HP. He clutches his chest when about to perform this move; stay near him and attack to interrupt it and avoid a longer fight.
  • Oda's Boulder Throw: Oda uses his spear to carve out a chunk of earth and tosses it at you. This is his only long-range attack and is easy to dodge to the side or guard. It primarily hurts if you don't see it coming.
  • Oda's Ki Blast: Oda gathers Ki and slams his spear down for a large area-of-effect blast. Even blocking this attack will cause some damage. Rush him immediately after he performs this move, as he will be very low (or out of) Ki, allowing for an easy grapple or final attack.
  • A video demonstrating a "legit" method involves baiting Oda away from Yuki and defeating him first.
