Master Nioh Part 128 with our guide. Learn strategies for defeating stone guardians, an Electric Onyudo, and the formidable boss Nue, utilizing essential talismans and Ki management.
Walkthrough
- 1The first encounter is against two stone guardians. Lure one into attacking, then get behind it to deal damage. Defeat them quickly, being mindful of their sideways swings.
- 2After the guardians, you will face an Electric Onyudo. Do not give it any items it begs for. Attack its sides and back to defeat it.
- 3The main battle begins with Nue. Before engaging, apply buffs: Water Talisman, Lightningstop Talisman, Regen Talisman, Protection Talisman, and Kekkai Talisman.
- 4Rush Nue and attack his sides, using Ki Pulse. Block his body twist attack if necessary. With buffs active, you can deplete 30-40% of his HP. Avoid standing in front of him when he prepares his lightning attack.
- 5When your buffs begin to fade, back away. Wait for Nue to use his lightning breath attack, then re-apply all your buffs. During this buff cycle, use a Sloth Talisman to slow him down.
- 6Re-engage Nue, sticking to his sides and punishing him while avoiding lightning. With Sloth active, you should be able to deplete another 40-50% of his HP.
- 7Nue's moves are familiar from previous encounters. Save and use your items wisely to make this fight manageable.
Tips
- Save most of your items, especially those effective against lightning, for the final Nue battle.
- Apply all available buffs before engaging Nue to maximize your survivability and damage output.
- Use the Sloth Talisman during your buff cycle to slow Nue down, making him easier to read and punish.
- Stay mobile to avoid Nue's Lightning Strike attack, which targets your previous location.
- When close to Nue, be ready to dodge his Claw Strikes or back away. Dodging to the right can open him up for attacks.
- The Pounce attack is rare but can be dodged by moving away.
- The Body Twirl is a defensive move; create distance if Nue uses it.
