Nioh Part 42 walkthrough covering the trap room, finding Kodama, and defeating the Giant Toad boss.
Walkthrough
- 1Head to the trap room and go down the left hallway to find a corpse. Open the door, which leads back to an earlier shrine.
- 2Return to the main path and enter the next room, which contains mist and a Ninja Yokai. Kill the Ninja.
- 3Take the left path, which leads to a dead-end with false walls, a Ninja, and a chest. A corpse is hidden behind one of the false walls in the hallway before this area. Do not use the Wall Doors here.
- 4Head back and take the right path. Break the false door and enter the next room through the Wall Door.
- 5Enter the subsequent room through another Wall Door. Kill the Ninja inside.
- 6In this room, to your immediate right is a Nurikabe. To your left is a Wall Door that leads back to the previously explored left path; do not use it. To the north are two more Wall Doors and a doorway you can break open.
- 7Interact with the Nurikabe. Behind it, you will find a chest, a Healer Kodama, and a Hot Spring.
- 8Take the northern Wall Door on the right. This leads to a small passage with a Hunter Kodama. Collect it; this is the last Kodama in the stage.
- 9Exit through the other Wall Door. Break the false wall to your right and head into the hallway. Take the first right to another hallway.
- 10In this hallway, note the trap to the left and the floor trap that triggers it. Go past them to the corpse at the end and kill the Ninja that ambushes you.
- 11Head back and destroy the green crystal. To the right of the crystal is a Wall Door leading to a Big Chest. Loot it.
- 12Exit that room and proceed past the crystal room to the ominous doors.
