Nioh Part 135 covers Tachibana Muneshige and Great Centipede boss fights. Learn how to counter their unique attacks and emerge victorious.
Walkthrough
- 1Tachibana Muneshige Encounters:
- 2Expect standard sword combos and special skills.
- 3Arrow Barrage: Tachibana rolls back, fires three arrows in a spread. Block shots and re-engage.
- 4Iai Quickdraw: Tachibana uses his version of Iai Quickdraw. Get out of range or block if you have Ki, then attack.
- 5Inner Strength: Tachibana's katana glows as he moves it in a circle, granting an attack buff. Counter with Devigorate Talisman or attack him out of the animation if close, but be cautious.
- 6Quadrisect: Tachibana sheathes and draws his sword in a flurry of strikes. Block if you have Ki, otherwise dodge away or roll to his side with low stance to get behind him.
- 7Summon Guardian (Kelley's Disguise): Kelley copies Tachibana's Raiken, summoning it to dart forward. Block this attack unless you are very far away to avoid minor electrical damage and the chance to be shocked.
- 8Grab Amrita: Occurs when you are out of Ki and close to Kelley. He grabs you, pulls out Amrita, and deals moderate damage. Avoid this by managing your Ki.
- 9Great Centipede Boss Fight (from "The Silver Mine Writhes"):
- 10This multi-part boss scurries and attempts to ram you.
- 11Attack ANY part of the boss to damage him. Body parts may split off and disappear or turn into Poison Stones. Destroy Poison Stones ASAP.
- 12The boss will always have 3-4 body parts.
- 13When not ramming, he rears up to land on you or spit attacks.
- 14The Centipede will retreat into walls or the floor; wait for him to emerge.
- 15While the Centipede is hidden, destroy any Poison Stones or scavenge the 3 corpses scattered around the area. Note the Air Machine on the upper level.
Tips
- For Tachibana, blocking and quickly attacking afterwards is often effective.
- For the Great Centipede, keep healed and have your antidote ready.
