Defeat Oda and Edward Kelley in Nioh Part 70. Learn about Oda's elemental enhancements and Kelley's warp attacks. Obtain the Tengen Kujaku spirit.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
After the encounter with Oda, a cut-scene will play.
  2. 2
You will receive the 'Friend of Guardians' SILVER TROPHY if you have been collecting all Guardian Spirits by completing sub-missions.
  3. 3
You obtain the spirit: "Possessed by Tengen Kujaku via spirit division."
  4. 4
Proceed forward and interact with the SHRINE on your right to heal and restock.
  5. 5
Continue onward to trigger another cut-scene and initiate the boss fight against Edward Kelley.

Oda's Enhanced Attacks:

  • Earth Enhanced: Oda enhances his sword with earth, causing your Ki to double when you act. He also creates "Earth Mines" (purple areas) that inflict low earth damage and stack the earth effect on you if stepped in.
  • Wind Enhanced: Oda uses a wind-enhanced sword that can lower your attack if he applies the wind status. He also uses "Wind Slash," which creates wind blades in front of him and diagonally that cannot be blocked; roll to the sides to avoid them.

Edward Kelley Boss Fight:

  • Kelley is not as difficult as previous bosses but can still defeat you if you are not careful.
  • He frequently warps around the arena, often behind you to perform his "Dark Shard Lunge." Roll away from your back when he warps.
  • Kelley uses "get away from me" moves like "Ouroboros Flame" and "Ouroboros Wind," as well as a blocking move where Ouroboros' scales appear to block damage.
  • His basic melee attack is the "Dark Shard Combo," a series of up to three swings with his dark shard sword, which can be guarded or dashed away from.
  • The "Teleport Lunge" is his signature move where he warps out of view and lunges at you, sometimes attempting a grab.
  • His "Grab" move is similar to when you first fought him, but he no longer steals Amrita.
  • You can knock down Kelley's Ki to perform grapple or finishing move attacks.
Tips
  • Conserve as many health and magic items as possible, as they will be needed soon.
  • When Kelley warps, anticipate him appearing behind you and roll away.
  • Keep your health up throughout the fight.
  • 'Friend of Guardians' SILVER TROPHY (if prerequisites met)
  • Tengen Kujaku spirit
