Abandoned Mine, 1st Fl

Guide to navigating the Abandoned Mine's first floor in Dark Age of Camelot, including defeating the Tangle Bloom boss and its rewards.

Head into the mine and use the psynergy stone if you need to, then head south through the door. Head east until you reach a broken track. Use the Growth psynergy on the small plant to continue upwards. Head down the stairs to the east and continue onwards to reach another part of the cave.

In this area, Tyrell is found unconscious due to a psynergy vortex. Isaac and Garet attempt to explain the vortexes.

Elemental Lighthouse: These towers sent beams of elemental energy over Mount Aleph to cause the Golden Sun event, releasing Alchemy back into the world of Weyard.

Kraden: An old scholar and authority on Alchemy, Psynergy, and ancient cultures. He traveled with the Warriors of Vale and now researches with two apprentices.

Head around the path, past the vines and the vortex. Use Growth psynergy on the plant, then climb down it. Get near the flower and hit it with a fireball.

Boss: Tangle Bloom

HP: Around 979 HP

Moves:

• Basic Attack: Tangle Bloom hits you with a vine. Low damage.
• Defend: Tangle Bloom reduces incoming damage.
• Tangle Bloom is assessing the situation: Tangle Bloom does nothing.
• Tangle Bloom is examining the situation: Tangle Bloom does nothing.

Tangle Bloom is the first boss battle and is relatively easy. You can let Isaac and Garet handle most of the fight. Use your most powerful moves and remember to heal when necessary.

After the fight, you gain 143 experience, 77 coins, and a Psy Crystal.

After the battle, run over to Tyrell to start another scene. Isaac and Garet will infuse psynergy to wake Tyrell up. You will then be tasked with getting new materials for another soarwing.

Mountain Roc: These gigantic birds are rarely seen. A single feather can provide enough material to craft a soarwing.

Morgal: A country in northeastern Angara, with the capital city of Belinsk. It is home to many wonders, including the tree village of Kolima and the ancient dock facilities of Port Rago.

Use the northern exit for a shortcut that leads to where the soarwing crashed, allowing you to salvage it.
