General Allied Strategies for Counterstrike

• Early Reconnaissance: Always scout ahead with Engineers, Spies, or even a lone Ranger. Knowing enemy positions and resource nodes is crucial.
• Power Management: The Soviets often employ advanced defenses. Ensure you have ample Power Plants to support your base and offensive units, especially when deploying Gap Generators or advanced defenses.
• Combined Arms: Don't rely on a single unit type. Combine durable Medium Tanks with nimble Light Tanks for hit-and-run tactics, and always have Anti-Aircraft Guns or Rocket Infantry ready for air threats.
• Engineer Rush: In some missions, a well-timed Engineer rush can capture key enemy structures, turning the tide rapidly. Protect your Engineers at all costs!
• Naval Dominance: If a mission involves water, establishing naval superiority with Destroyers and Cruisers can provide invaluable long-range support and coastal defense.

Mission Walkthroughs

Allied Mission 1: "The Iron Curtain"

Objective: Destroy the Soviet Iron Curtain device and all enemy forces.

1. Initial Setup: You start with a small base and limited resources. Immediately build a Refinery and a Power Plant. Train a few Rangers for initial defense and scouting.
2. Expand and Defend: The Soviets will launch early attacks with Light Tanks and Grenadiers. Fortify your base with Sandbags and a Pillbox. Build a Barracks and a War Factory.
3. Resource Gathering: Send your Harvesters to the nearest Ore fields. Consider building a second Refinery if resources are plentiful.
4. Locate the Iron Curtain: Use a Ranger or a Light Tank to scout the map. The Iron Curtain device is typically located deep within the main Soviet base, often protected by Tesla Coils and Flame Towers.
5. Assault Preparation: Build a strong force of Medium Tanks, supported by Rocket Infantry for anti-air and anti-personnel. Consider a few Engineers to capture key structures if the opportunity arises.
6. The Attack: Approach the Soviet base from a less defended flank if possible. Focus fire on Tesla Coils first to disable their defensive capabilities. Once the path is clear, target the Iron Curtain device directly.
7. Mop Up: After the Iron Curtain is destroyed, systematically eliminate any remaining Soviet structures and units to secure victory.

Allied Mission 2: "Crushing the Kremlin"

Objective: Destroy the Kremlin and all Soviet forces.

1. Secure Your Beachhead: You'll begin with a small force on a beach. Quickly establish a Construction Yard, Power Plant, and Barracks. Defend against initial Soviet infantry and tank patrols.
2. Naval Support: This mission heavily features water. Build a Shipyard as soon as possible. Construct several Destroyers to provide offshore bombardment and protect your coastline from Soviet Submarines.
3. Air Superiority: The Soviets will likely deploy MiGs. Build an Airfield and train a few Orcas to counter their air threat and provide tactical bombing runs.
4. Advance Inland: Once your naval and air defenses are established, begin pushing inland with a combined force of Medium Tanks, Light Tanks, and Rocket Infantry. Watch out for Tesla Coils and Flame Towers guarding key choke points.
5. Locate the Kremlin: The Kremlin is a heavily fortified structure, usually at the heart of the main Soviet base. It will be surrounded by advanced defenses and numerous units.
6. Coordinated Assault: Use your Destroyers to soften up coastal defenses and your Orcas to target high-priority structures like Tesla Coils or Power Plants. Then, send in your ground forces to breach the perimeter.
7. Destroy the Kremlin: Focus all available firepower on the Kremlin. Once it falls, eliminate any remaining Soviet resistance to complete the mission.

Allied Mission 3: "Arctic Circle"

Objective: Capture the Soviet research facility and eliminate all enemy presence.

1. Initial Defense: You start in a snowy, confined area. Immediately establish defenses with Pillboxes and Sandbags around your Construction Yard. Soviet attacks will come from multiple directions, often with Grenadiers and Attack Dogs.
2. Resource Management: Ore fields are often scattered. Efficient Harvester management is key. Consider building an Advanced Power Plant for increased power output in a smaller footprint.
3. Engineer Priority: This mission emphasizes capturing. Train Engineers early and protect them. You'll need them to capture the research facility.
4. Clear the Path: The path to the research facility will be heavily guarded by Tesla Coils, Flame Towers, and various Soviet vehicles. Use Medium Tanks and Rocket Infantry to clear a safe route.
5. Capture the Facility: Once the area around the research facility is clear, send in your Engineers. Capture the facility. Be prepared for a counter-attack once it's under your control.
6. Defend the Facility: Immediately fortify the captured facility with your own defenses. Build Pillboxes and Anti-Aircraft Guns around it.
7. Final Push: With the research facility secured, build up a final assault force to wipe out any remaining Soviet bases and units on the map.
