Success hinges on understanding enemy attack vectors and using your most potent units effectively.

Your primary objective in "The Invasion of Nod" is to defend your base against relentless waves of Allied forces. The mission begins with a relatively small base, so immediate expansion and fortification are paramount. Prioritize building additional Power Plants to sustain your defenses and Barracks for troop production. The initial Allied attacks will likely come from the north and west, so establish defensive turrets and patrol units in these directions.

Key units to focus on producing include the Assault Soldier for general infantry combat and the Flame Tank for its devastating area-of-effect damage against infantry and light vehicles. The Mammoth Tank, while expensive, is your ultimate ground-based deterrent and should be produced as soon as your economy can support it. Don't neglect air defense; the Missile Launcher is crucial for swatting down incoming Orcas and Comanches.

The mission map features several key resource nodes. Secure the Tiberium fields to your east and west as quickly as possible. These will be your lifeline for sustained unit production. Be wary of Allied commando raids; they can cripple your Harvesters. Consider building a few Guard Towers near your Tiberium fields for added protection.
