Hey there! So you're looking to get started with Egypt in Civilization V? Awesome choice! They're a fantastic civilization, especially if you love building those massive Wonders. Think of them as the ultimate construction crew of the ancient world.

Egypt's main strengths lie in their ability to churn out Wonders at a reduced cost. You get a 20% discount on production for all Wonders. Pair that with the bonus from having Marble and a specific Social Policy, and you'll be building them faster than anyone else. This makes them a powerhouse for achieving cultural or diplomatic victories, or just for getting those sweet bonuses that come with each Wonder.

When it comes to unique units, Egypt gets the War Chariot. The cool thing about this unit is that you don't need to have horses in your territory to build it, and it has improved movement, making it a decent early-game aggressor or scout.
