From the start, hit the ? Block flying north and south. Take a running jump onto it, then jump up to grab the Star Coin above, using its shadow to judge the position. Drop back down and jump onto the red cogs to your right.

Be careful of the two Flophoppers on the first cog and three on the second. Jump to the first small cog, then to the next one. A Magikoopa will spawn to your north-east.

The second Star Coin is on the cog to your north. Quickly jump to it, grab it, and jump back before the Magikoopa fires a bolt or the screen moves too far right. Jump to the next cog to your right.

Jump onto the large cog. The Magikoopa that spawned near the second Star Coin will teleport closer. Run along the cog dodging the bolt of the next Magikoopa ahead. Avoid being pushed off by the fake Goomba. At the end, jump to the next cog.

Run along this cog. If you are quick enough, you will be ahead of the Magikoopa before it teleports to the center. Be aware of two fake Goombas here. At the end, jump to the ship.

Grab the six Blue Blocks and move past the Warp Box to the stairs. Hop up the stairs and jump up to the decoration of the ship.

Jump onto the purple block supporting the cog. Jump onto the right side of the fast-moving cog, moving towards the center. Quickly jump up and grab the Star Coin above, landing back on the right side of the cog. Immediately jump back to the ship. Drop down to where the Warp Box is and enter it.

After warping, move up to the left half of the ship. Move along the piece of wood jutting from the left side to find a Tanooki Toad. Move toward him to receive a 1-Up. Grab it and move back to the main part of the ship.

Follow the stairs up to the top. At the top step, take a running jump off the right edge onto the top of the Goal Pole for a 1-Up.

This is a Cosmic Clone (a copy of you that mimics your actions with a delay) and time trial course. You begin with 30 seconds and must collect Blue Clocks throughout the level. Be very quick.

Drop down the steps. Jump over the gap of lava to the north-west of the pillar, watching out for the Podoboo. Grab the blue clock and jump onto the cog.

Run in the same direction the cog rotates to move faster. Move around and jump over the two brick blocks with a Blue Clock on them, grabbing the clock.

Watch out for the Firebar on the next cog and jump on. Move in the same direction as the cog to go faster. Jump over the Firebar as needed and jump to the platform beyond.

Move over and grab the Blue Clock to your north-east. You will see a Large ? Block between two sets of pillars. Take a running jump onto it. Grab the Star Coin on the pillar to your south-west, then loop back around to avoid the Cosmic Clone. If you fail, loop around and try again, but do not take too long.

Run underneath the left side of the Large ? Block, hit it, then move to the right side before being hit by the Cosmic Clone. Run out from underneath the block and grab the Tanooki Leaf from it. Run to the wooden platform to your north-east and jump onto the edge closest to you.

The platform will move up. Move in a large circle to avoid the Cosmic Clone. At the top, jump onto the chain platform.

Time walking and running to reach the row of Podoboos as they drop below the chain platform. Grab the Blue Clock before them and move past.

Jump up the steps and grab either Blue Clock ahead. Move around and grab the second one from the north. Complete a full circle to avoid the Cosmic Clone and continue north, jumping over the gap.

Turn right and keep moving. Watch out for the Firebar. Move towards its center and hop onto the block it protrudes from to grab another Blue Clock. Jump off and continue right, watching out for the Firebar. Continue past the brick blocks to the first alcove in the north wall.
