Part 57

After the second wave of fireballs, jump onto the platform and run up the stairs.

Cross the drawbridge and jump into the cannon. Aim at the red ring and fire.

Collect the five red coins on the platform for a 1-Up (or Tanooki Leaf).

Jump into the next cannon, aim at the yellow ring, and fire.

Run up the winding platform and enter the door.

After the (cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically)), you will fall to a platform with Bowser. Any deaths from this point on will take you back to this position instead of the beginning of the level, meaning the Star Coins are effectively yours if you complete the level without exiting.

Run up toward and behind Bowser; he will jump further ahead.

Continue down the platforms, quickly getting off the cracked platforms before they fall.

Dodge Bowser's Spiked Balls.

Once you reach the blue cracked platform, Bowser will jump further on.

Run up the stairs and hit the ? Block for a Tanooki Leaf and the brick block for a coin.

Be careful not to stay stationary to avoid Bowser's fireballs.

Run past the blue cracked platforms, dodging fireballs.

Jump onto the tightrope and keep moving forward to avoid fireballs.

Stomp the three Paragoombas and jump off onto the other side.

Bowser will jump directly in front of you.

Run up the side Bowser isn't rolling a barrel down. As the barrel passes, move to that side to avoid the next one.

When you reach Bowser's platform, he will jump to a blue bridge.

Move onto the bridge and run to the north edge. Wait for Bowser to shoot a fireball, then run to the south edge. Repeat this pattern until he has shot three fireballs.

After three fireballs, Bowser will jump forward. Run underneath him before he lands. If you miss, dodge three more fireballs, let him jump back, dodge another three, and run under when he jumps forward again.

Past Bowser, jump across cracked platforms onto the next section of blue bridge. Do not run too far, or Bowser may land on you.

Repeat the fireball dodging and running underneath Bowser pattern.

Pillars will block your way. Bowser will jump back, creating a gap between him and the pillars.

Jump over Bowser's tail as he spins clockwise to break the three pillars.

Move onto the platform and hit the big black button with the red Bowser face before he fires fireballs.

Bowser will fall into the lava, and a large blue block will slide down, allowing you to run past.

Run up the steps.

Partway up, Bowser will appear. Keep running up the steps, dodging his blue fireballs.

Jump over the cracked blue platform and up the steps.

Bowser will jump to a nearby platform. Stay on platforms as far away from Bowser as possible.

Jump onto the platform with the first Tanooki Goomba, dodge it, and jump to the platform with the second Tanooki Goomba. Dodge past it.

Jump onto the cracked blue platform further on, then up to the next platform, and onto the cracked platforms.

Bowser will jump to a nearby platform and shoot more fireballs. Dodge them.

Jump onto the rubber platform at the end, then onto the platform above, and run right.

Keep running right over cracked platforms until they turn left. Follow them up to the next stable platform.

Bowser will jump after you; try to stay well ahead.

Jump up the cracked platforms to the next stable platform and immediately run onto the blue bridge.

Bowser will jump onto your previous platform and chase you. Run and jump over the evenly spaced brick block obstacles on the bridge. Time your jumps to clear them. If you slow down too much, Bowser will catch up.

At the end of the platform, hit the big black button again. The bridge will break, sending Bowser into the lava.

Move along the trail.

Move up the steps to the left of the Goal Pole.

Take a running jump from the right edge of the final step onto the top of the Goal Pole for the last 1-Up of the main worlds.
