Part 41

A complete walkthrough for Part 41 of Super Mario 3D Land, detailing how to navigate platforms, defeat enemies, and collect all three Star Coins.

Walkthrough: World 6-5

Requires 60 Star Coins to Unlock

1. Move onto the first rubber platform. Jump up, stomp the Paragoomba, and jump to the next rubber platform.
2. Jump onto the next rubber platform (moving perpendicular) and then up to the platform with a Goomba stack. Stomp the Goombas and proceed.
3. Jump onto the next rubber platform, move to its left side, and follow it right. Jump over the ice to the right and then up to the platform with a Goomba. Stomp it and jump right. Hit the brick blocks; the center one contains a Tanooki Leaf.
4. Star Coin Alert! #1: Drop onto the rubber platform below. The Star Coin is underneath the platform with the brick blocks. Bounce to it and grab it. Return to the right side and jump off the rubber platform up to the one on your right.
5. Move along the platform, jumping onto two more platforms with Goombas. Stomp them all and jump back down to the rubber platform.
6. Use the rubber platform to jump onto the ring of brick blocks. Ground pound the block to the left of the far right corner for a 1-Up. Move right.
7. Hit the Checkpoint Flag and follow the path right. Fall onto the first rubber platform for coins, then jump up the subsequent rubber platforms until you reach the top one.
8. Jump down onto the four joined rubber platforms, falling through the red ring. Jump up for coins above the rubber platform, then jump onto the ice for the last coin. Collect the 1-Up (or Tanooki Leaf) and stomp the four Goombas.
9. Move onto the next rubber platform. Stay on the left side, jump over the ice (stomping the Paragoomba), and land on the right side of the rubber platform. Jump over the next ice patch, defeating the Paragoomba, and fall to the rubber platform below.
10. Star Coin Alert! #2: Between the two wooden sections, perform a large jump. Move into one wooden wall and wall jump off it. Repeat with the other wall, continuing to wall jump until you reach the platform above. Grab the Star Coin. Avoid hitting brick blocks unless the rubber platform is below. Jump off the right edge and down onto the rubber platform.
11. From the rubber platform, jump to the next one and then onto the Donut Blocks. Stomp the two stacked Paragoombas, then move onto the rubber platform. Jump up to the next two rubber platforms.
12. Above the last rubber platform is a Large ? Block. Hit it for coins. Wait for the moving platform on your left to approach.
13. Star Coin Alert! #3: Jump onto the approaching moving platform. Take out the two Paragoombas and follow the platform left. Jump down to grab the Star Coin below and fall onto the Donut Blocks. Jump back up to the moving platform.
14. Jump north from the moving platform onto the ice. Jump up the rubber platforms until you reach the last one before the Goal Pole. Jump off the north edge of this platform.
