Part 53

Collect the first Star Coin as you move past the platform. A Giant Boo will appear; jump away from it to the other side of the platform and face it to stop its pursuit. Stay on the platform until it moves out of sight. Collect the coin as you move past it. The platform will turn back east shortly after. Stand in the center of the platform as it will suddenly drop, allowing you to grab coins if positioned correctly. When it stops falling, move right and through the purple door.

Outside, jump on the small floating platform. Stand on the south side. The platform will float up and around, leaving you on the west side when it stops. Run and jump off the east side onto the top of the Goal Pole before the platform begins moving back to get a 1-Up.

Move up the path along the side of the wall. At the end, move right over the cracked blocks, jumping to land on the blue panel of the first Flip-Swap Panel if the red panels are facing up, or walk straight onto the blue panel if it's already facing up. Jump to the red panel. From there, jump north to where the blue panel will be. If you stomp the Paragoomba, remember the jump will switch the panels, so you'll need to land on the red panel next to you.

Star Coin Alert! #1: Jump north again to the next red panel, then to the next blue panel. Grab the Star Coin on it, then jump to the red panel on your right. Jump off onto the platform. Dodge the Paragoombas, remembering that jumping to stomp them will flip the panels.

Hit the ? Block and drop north down the three cracked blocks onto the thin platform below. Walk onto the side that's already facing up. Jump north down your current side. When dodging Bullet Bills, jump right or left to the adjacent panel and let them move underneath. This ensures you can always reach a panel facing up after dodging. Jump forward if you can reach the panel in front. Continue to the end, jump onto the blue panel if you aren't on it, and jump onto the pole to your left.

Climb the pole and jump off the left side onto the yellow platform when it arrives. Ride it north and jump onto the platform to your left. Hit the right brick block multiple times for coins, the middle for a single coin, and the left for a Boomerang Plant. Hit the two ? Blocks for single coins. Move left and hit the Checkpoint Flag.

Move north and jump if needed so the blue panels face up. Jump onto where the red panel will be, then north again onto the blue panel, timing the jump to clear the Rocky Wrench's wrench.

Star Coin Alert! #2: Jump onto the Rocky Wrench to your north, stomping him. Jump up and grab the Star Coin. Ensure the red panels are facing up (or jump so they are if not), then jump south back to the blue panel there.

Move left through the red ring. When red coins appear, jump from panel to panel collecting them. Do not jump diagonally (blue to blue or red to red) as the panel will disappear instead of appear. Use your jumps to avoid flying wrenches. After collecting the last red coin, grab the 1-Up (or Tanooki Leaf) and move onto the platform to your north.

Follow the platform around and jump up the cracked block steps. At the top, hit the Mystery Box.

Star Coin Alert! #3: Inside are three Rocky Wrenches. Wall jump off the right wall and up onto the flying platform, stomping the Rocky Wrench on it. Jump up and grab the Star Coin. Drop down and stomp the remaining two, dodging wrenches. When time runs out, you'll reappear where you were.

If red panels are facing up, jump onto where the blue panels will be, or if blue panels are already up, run onto them. Dodge the Giant Bill Blasters. Wait for each Giant Bullet Bill to fly past, then jump across to the next column of panels and run north on same-colored panels until you can jump to the next column. Repeat this until the end and jump onto the platform.

Move up the platform. Walk onto the blue panel if it's facing up, otherwise jump onto it so it appears. Jump to the red panel, then up to the next blue and last red panel. Be careful not to rush, as there is a Rocky Wrench at the end.
