As soon as possible, jump to the next floating platform coming from your right. The first Star Coin will be above it. Grab the Star Coin, then wait on the platform for one to float in from the left. Jump onto this platform.

Jump onto a platform floating in from the right, then another from the left. Be mindful of the stable platform above to avoid losing height and falling.

Jump from the floating platform to the stable one, either before or after it moves underneath. The camera will stop before the platform moves off-screen.

Hit the Warp Box.

After warping, immediately jump onto the step, then the first floating platform.

Jump to the second floating platform and run to its right edge.

Take a running jump from the edge. If timed correctly, you will land on top of the Goal Pole for a 1-Up.

Special 5-5: Note that 'real' Warp Boxes (advancing you through the level) have a coin next to them. Only enter these.

Take the right of the three Warp Boxes; the other two warp you back to the start of the room.

After warping, move north and stomp the two Tanooki Goombas.

Break the box to your north-east to find a Statue Leaf. Do not hit the Warp Box north of it, as it warps you back to the beginning of the level.

Move left and go up the ramp. Jump onto the stack of books, stomping the Tanooki Goomba if present.

Jump onto the platform above. You can defeat the two Tanooki Goombas there if you wish.

Move south-east along the platform and enter the Warp Box.

This area contains Venus Fire Traps and a Piranha Plant. Move north and stomp the Venus Fire Trap to your left first.

Move right and stomp the Piranha Plant, dodging any fireballs. Do not hit the ? Block to the right of the Piranha Plant, as it contains a Poison Mushroom.

Move left and hit the ? Block for a Fire Flower.

Go up the ramp to your north-west and enter the Warp Box there to go to the next area. Alternatively, jump onto the stack of books, stomp the Venus Fire Trap, then onto the platform after it. Stomp the Venus Fire Trap there too, but do not enter the Warp Box on this platform as it warps you back to the beginning of the level. Return to the real Warp Box and enter it.

The next area has Dry Bones. Ignore them and the Warp Box on the ground (it warps you to the beginning of the level). Move north-west.

Go up the ramp on the left. Jump onto the stack of books with Dry Bones on it, stomping it unless you can dodge it.

Jump to the platform above. Move north along the platform, stomping Dry Bones if necessary.

Enter the Warp Box at the end of the platform.

The next room has a Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag (a type of marker indicating a save point). Hit it and grab the Blue Clock to your north-east.

Hit the Flying ? Block in the center of the room multiple times for coins. Ignore the Warp Box to your left and move up the ramp.

Jump onto the stack of books then onto the platform above. Note: Entering a 'fake' Warp Box warps you back to the start of this room, not the beginning of the level, from this point on.

Star Coin Alert! #1: Stomp the Goomba on the platform; it will drop a Star Coin. Grab it and move south to enter the Warp Box.

This room is full of Prongos (enemies). To defeat one, lure it into diving by standing within range. As it dives, move out of the way and stomp its underside.

Move forward and defeat the first Prongo.

Move north and hit the ? Block to grab a Boomerang Flower.

Move north-east and grab the Blue Clock, then run left. Defeat the Prongo there.

Run up the ramp and defeat the next Prongo. Hit the brick block multiple times for coins.

Jump onto the stack of books then to the main platform above.

Defeat the Prongo here. Disregard the Warp Box to the north and move south instead.

Jump off the left edge of the southern-most part of the platform into the Warp Box.

Star Coin Alert! #2: This room has many Peepas (enemies) moving anti-clockwise. Move forward and stomp the Goomba. Grab the Star Coin and move left, dodging the Peepas.

Go up the ramp and hit the ? Block for a Statue Leaf.

Jump onto the stack of books and the platform above, being careful not to touch a Peepa.

Move north along the platform and hit the Warp Box there. Do not enter the one on the south side of the platform.
