Walkthrough
- 1On the elevated platform, defeat the two Goombas.
- 2Approach Dry Bowser to the north. Jump onto the platform he is on, or the one north-east of him with a running jump.
- 3Be cautious of Podoboos jumping from the lava when crossing the small gap.
- 4Dry Bowser attacks with a Tail Spin (when you are close) or fireballs. Jump over or move out of range of his Tail Spin. For fireballs, move to one side, then the other.
- 5If you are ahead of Dry Bowser, jump to the first wooden platform. If not, wait for him to jump back.
- 6Jump to the next wooden platform. Dry Bowser will land ahead of you.
- 7Wait for Dry Bowser to jump, creating a gap, then run or jump past him. Continue this until you reach the final wooden platform.
- 8Dry Bowser will jump ahead. Dodge his attacks until he jumps, creating another gap.
- 9Run past Dry Bowser and jump onto the Black Button.
- 10Quickly grab the Green Clock that appears, which adds 100 seconds to your timer. Dry Bowser will fall into the lava, and the castle door will open.
- 11Enter the castle and hit the Warp Box at the end.

- 20Hit the ? Block in the center of this platform to get five coins.
- 21Drop back to the sand. Defeat the three Sandmaarghs by standing still and letting them move under you. Jump away as their shadow disappears, then jump on where they were as they reappear.
- 22Behind the building, follow the wall left from the brazier platform around the corner to find a path.
- 23Move onto the path to make a string of coins appear. Run along it to collect them.
- 24To reach the first Star Coin: Move back to the brazier platform at the beginning. Take a running jump off the platform towards the corner closest to you.
- 25Propel yourself after the jump and hover onto the platform. In the north-west corner of this area is a Green Clock. Grab it.
- 26Move out from under the covered part of the platform. Wait on the right side of the Large Note Block for a clear view of the wall to your right.
