SEARCHING AROUND (2)

Follow this detailed walkthrough for Resident Evil to navigate the mansion, defeat enemies, and find crucial items in the 'Searching Around (2)' section.

Walkthrough:

1. After speaking with Barry, proceed through the far door to encounter your first zombie. Shoot it until it falls, then aim down and shoot it again to make it stand up. Collect the ammo clips.
2. Return to Barry. A zombie will burst in, and Barry will deal with it.
3. Proceed to the Main Hall. Barry will give you a lock pick. Go through the blue doors.
4. In the next room, move the steps next to the statue to collect the map. Move the desk away from the door and enter.
5. Inside, deal with the zombie on the floor. Collect the ribbon on the shelf and exit.
6. Go through the other door. A dog will burst through the window; shoot it with 5-6 timed shots.
7. Around the corner, another dog awaits; repeat the process. Exit through the door.
8. The first door on the left is a bathroom. Ignore it unless playing as Chris, in which case drain the water to find a cabinet key.
9. Continue down the corridor to two doors. The left door leads to a room with a shotgun. If playing as Jill, enter and retrieve it; Barry will save you from a trap. If playing as Chris, avoid this room for now.
10. Through the other door, encounter two more zombies. Aim high to practice headshots if playing as Jill.
11. Go through the Grey Door and kill the zombie by the stairs. Collect the green plant if injured.
12. Enter the next door to find a save room with an Ink Ribbon and a chest containing ammo clips. Save your game and store items. Collect the Ink Ribbon.
13. Exit and go up the stairs. Take out the zombie to your left and the one behind you.
14. Go through the door at the end of the corridor. Shoot the zombie and turn right into a small study. Examine the Botany book and leave.
15. Continue down the corridor, past the green doors you cannot yet enter.
16. After shooting another zombie, you'll find two more doors. Enter the unlocked one to return to the Main Hall.
17. Barry will meet you (Jill only) and give you bazooka ammo.
18. Go to the door next to the one you just came through to find the bazooka, guarded by crows. Investigate the body to find the bazooka (Chris finds ammo clips). Do not kill the crows.
19. Exit and go across the hall to the other door.
20. You are now on the balcony above the Dining Room. Kill the two zombies. Push the stone statue off the balcony and go through the far door.
21. Kill the two zombies by the stairs and go down. Kill the two more zombies at the bottom.
22. Enter the room at the bottom of the stairs. This is a save room. If playing as Chris, Rebecca will appear and offer help; accept to receive medicine later. Collect the Ink Ribbon (Chris gets a key) and save.
23. Exit and continue down the corridor, encountering another zombie.
24. The door on your right contains ammo, shotgun shells, and a rusty shotgun (needed for Chris to get the standard shotgun). You cannot enter yet.
25. Go through the other door, shoot the zombies, and head down the narrow corridor towards the plant room.
