Walkthrough

    Head north from the shack and enter it. Talk to the woman inside to heal your Pokemon. You can return here anytime.

    Exit the shack and head west to the bridge. Go south along the stream to find a small tree. Use Cut to access a Heart Scale, or Surf around to it.

    Return to the bridge and cross it. Follow the stream north until you are stopped by a Battle Girl.

    Continue north along the stream past the Battle Girl until you reach the Ace Trainer.

    Continue east under the bridge and over the stairs. Go east past the stairs to the stream. Surf across to a shack and talk to the man inside to receive TM35 - Flamethrower.

    Exit the shack and Surf back to the stairs. Head up them towards the Ace Trainer. You can avoid the trainer at the top by taking the left side of the stairs.

    Head west from the top of the steps along the dirt path. Continue under the bridge to stairs leading north.

    Move around the Pokemon Ranger to avoid battle and head up the stairs to enter Victory Road.

    If you wish to explore more of Route 23, head east over the bridge near the Ace Trainer. Turn on your Dowsing MCHN to find a Rare Candy in the south-west corner.

    Head back to the Ace Trainer and cross the bridge west and south of him. The item in the Tall Grass is an Amoonguss.

    Head back north and grab the item near the ledge, which is another Star Piece. Drop down the ledge and head back over the bridge. If you don't have Cut, take the long way south and then north up the western path to the Star Piece.
