Follow this guide to defeat the Team Plasma Grunts and their Pokémon on the Plasma Frigate in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Includes trainer parties and battle strategies.
Walkthrough
- 1Defeat the first Team Plasma Grunt on the deck. His party includes a Level 46 Watchog (Normal) and a Level 46 Garbodor (Poison).
- 2After the battle, head to the south end of the boat on the eastern side. Go up the steps to find TM67 - Retaliate.
- 3Proceed to the north end of the ship, up the steps, to find a Revive.
- 4Return to the south end and move towards Hugh.
- 5Follow Hugh through a doorway into a room where you will engage in a double battle with a male and female Team Plasma Grunt. Hugh will be your partner.
- 6The male Grunt's party consists of a Level 46 Golbat (Poison/Flying) and a Level 46 Drapion (Poison/Dark).
- 7The female Grunt's party includes a Level 46 Seviper (Poison) and a Level 46 Garbodor (Poison).
- 8After defeating the Grunts, talk to Hugh and then exit onto the deck.
Hugh’s Party (Partner in Double Battle):
- If Snivy was your starter: Emboar (Level 50, Fire/Fighting, Held Item: Charcoal), Simipour (Level 48, Water, Held Item: Mystic Water), Unfezant (Level 48, Normal/Flying, Held Item: Scope Lens).
- If Tepig was your starter: Samurott (Level 50, Water, Held Item: Mystic Water), Simisage (Level 48, Grass, Held Item: Miracle Seed), Unfezant (Level 48, Normal/Flying, Held Item: Scope Lens).
- If Oshawott was your starter: Serperior (Level 50, Grass, Held Item: Miracle Seed), Simisear (Level 48, Fire, Held Item: Charcoal), Unfezant (Level 48, Normal/Flying, Held Item: Scope Len).
