pokemon black white 2 Battle Subway format, rewards, and banned Pokemon. Earn Battle Points (BP) by winning consecutive battles.
Battle Format:
For all battle types in the Battle Subway, you will have a set number of allowed Pokemon, which varies depending on the chosen battle type. The Pokemon you intend to use should be put into your party and selected when prompted by the Depot Agent. All Pokemon are set to Level 50, regardless of their original level, allowing you to participate at any time. However, this also prevents the use of overpowered Pokemon. Certain banned Pokemon, primarily Legendaries, cannot be used.
After choosing your Pokemon, you proceed to battle trainers consecutively. In the normal version of a battle type, you continue until you lose, retire, or win 21 consecutive battles. For the Super version or Wi-Fi battles, the battles continue indefinitely. Between battles, your Pokemon are healed, and you have the option to retire.
Banned Pokemon:
A list of banned Pokemon is available, generally consisting of Legendary Pokemon.
Participation Rewards:
Rewards are in the form of Battle Points (BP), with greater rewards for progressing further. BP can be exchanged for prizes at counters in all Train Lines except the Brown Train Line. The left and right women at each counter sell different wares, but the selection is the same across all counters. BP is not earned linearly, except in Wi-Fi battles. You earn BP every seven games won during a single attempt, with the amount varying based on progression. BP earned from the Pokemon World Tournament and Battle Subway are interchangeable and can be spent on identical prizes at either location.
Battle Points Awarded:
The table below shows the total BP earned during a single attempt based on the number of wins:
- 7 Wins: Normal Version (3 BP), Super Version (5 BP), Wi-Fi Version (10 BP)
- 14 Wins: Normal Version (6 BP), Super Version (11 BP), Wi-Fi Version (20 BP)
- 21 Wins: Normal Version (16 BP), Super Version (18 BP), Wi-Fi Version (30 BP)

Battle Types:
Single Battle: You use one Pokemon at a time against an opponent.
Double Battle: You use two Pokemon at a time against an opponent.
Multi Battle: You and a friend (connected locally via DS or 3DS wireless or infrared) or the other main character (male if you chose female, vice versa) team up against two trainers. You each control one Pokemon in a Double Battle. If playing with the other main character, you can direct their party to fit a certain play-style, though the Pokemon they choose are up to them.
Wi-Fi Battle: You partake in Single Battles against trainers downloaded via Wi-Fi.
The Super Versions of these types are more difficult due to stronger opponents.
Subway Boss Battles:
The 21st Battle in Normal Version types is against a Subway Boss (or both bosses in Multi Battle). Winning these completes the Normal Version for that battle type. After defeating the Pokemon League, the Super Version unlocks for the Normal Version you beat.
The 49th Battle in Super Version types is against a Subway Boss (or both in Multi Battle). These are tougher than other Super Version battles. Winning these technically completes the Super Version for that battle type, though you can continue battling trainers afterward.
