Alright, so you've made it to Reversal Mountain and you're looking for Heatran. It's a bit of a maze in here, but stick with me and we'll get you to it. First things first, head north through the first area until you reach the back. Then, take the door to the east. Keep heading south until you hit the southern edge of the room, and then turn east. Follow this path east until you see a Doctor standing in front of some stairs leading down. That's your cue!

Go down those stairs and through the door. In this new room, head north and down another set of stairs. You'll see a lower section of the room ahead of you. Try to walk down into that lower section, and you'll be stopped. A question will pop up – just answer 'Yes', and bam! Heatran appears.

Before you go challenging it, make sure you Save your game! Seriously, this is your one shot to catch Heatran unless you want to reload. If you mess up the catch or decide to defeat it, you'll need to reload your save. Trust me, it's way less stressful this way.

Legendary Pokemon Battle

Here's what you're up against with Heatran:

  • Pokemon: Heatran
  • Level: 68
  • Type: Fire/Steel

Heatran can be a real pain to catch, especially if you're not using a Master Ball. It's got some tough defenses and hits hard with its Special Attack, plus that powerful Lava Plume move. Your best bet here is to use a Water-type Pokémon. They'll resist both Heatran's Fire and Steel attacks, giving you a much better chance.

Once you've dealt with Heatran, whether you caught it or not, that's pretty much it for this part of the walkthrough. You can use an Escape Rope to get out of the mountain or just backtrack to the entrance. From there, you're free to head wherever you want next!
