Opelucid City

Your guide to Opelucid City in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2! Find items like Float Stone, Ring Target, and more, plus prep for the Gym.

Alright, you've made it to Opelucid City! As soon as you head west out of the gate, you'll see Iris. She'll have a quick chat and then head off. Your next stop should be the Pokémon Center just ahead to heal up and grab any items you might need. After that, it's time to explore!

Just a heads-up, the gate to the west leads to Route 9, which is totally optional. If you want to train your Pokémon or just explore, feel free to head that way and come back here when you're done.

Now, let's get to the good stuff. Take the path to the left of the Pokémon Center and head north. You'll find a building at the end of this path. Go upstairs to the second floor. Look for a guy sitting at the north end of a table – he'll give you a Float Stone. Then, chat with the girl at the south end of the table. If you say 'Yes' to her question, she'll give you a Ring Target.

Head back to the main street and keep going west. When you see the next street turning north, follow it. The first building you can enter on the left side of this street is your next destination. Go inside and talk to the man on the bottom floor; he's got a Gift Box for you.

This building is also where you can get some daily rewards if you're into the Pokémon Musical. If you check back here for the next three days, you'll get a Fluffy Beard, then a Big Bag, and finally a Scarlet Hat. Pretty neat!

Once you're done there, head back outside and continue north up the street. At the very end, just before the street turns east, you'll spot the Opelucid City Gym. You can totally go in right now, but let's check out the building right next to it first. Inside, on the first floor, a woman will give you a Smoke Ball. Now you're all set! When you're ready, head into the Gym!
