pokemon black white 2 Aspertia City walkthrough: Choose your starter, battle your rival, and get your first 10 Poke Balls.

The game begins with your mother calling you inside her house. After the conversation, you gain control of your character. Walk to your mother, and she will speak with you. Once the dialogue concludes, leave your house. You can ignore the building to your left as it contains nothing of note. Instead, move up the street to your left. Your rival and his younger sister will stop you. After a brief conversation, your rival's sister will return home, and your rival will follow you.

You are now free to explore Aspertia City, though there isn't much to see currently. Your rival will prevent you from visiting the Pokémon Center, Trainers’ School, or leaving town. The only useful action is to walk up the steps leading to the lookout. The steps to the lookout are on the street heading north, to the right of the Pokémon Center. Upon reaching the lookout, Hugh will stop you and speak with you. After he finishes, approach Bianca.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Talk to Bianca at the end and answer "yes" to both of her questions. After the dialogue, speak to her again to choose one of three starter Pokémon. All starters begin at Level 5 with no held items.
  2. 2
Snivy (Grass-type): Evolves into Servine at Lv.17 and Serperior at Lv.36. Recommended for expert players due to poor performance against four gyms, two of which are early. It primarily uses Grass-type moves. Excels with high Speed and well-balanced stats, favoring defense, when not facing weaknesses.
  3. 3
Tepig (Fire-type): Evolves into Pignite at Lv.17 and Emboar at Lv.36. Well-suited for most players. Faces fewer type disadvantages than Snivy and gains the Fighting-type upon evolution. Boasts high Attack, impressive HP, and Special Attack, but lacks defenses and Speed.
  4. 4
Oshawott (Water-type): Evolves into Dewott at Lv.17 and Samurott at Lv.36. Recommended for beginners. Like Snivy, it doesn't gain a new type upon evolution, making it less versatile than Tepig. It is only weak to one gym and not very useful against two others. Water-type Pokémon are generally good, and Oshawott doesn't gain additional weaknesses. Stats are well-balanced with good offense but slightly lacking Speed. A reliable choice.
  5. 5
After picking your starter, you will be asked if you want to nickname your Pokémon. Do so if desired. Bianca will then give you a Pokédex, which records information on encountered Pokémon.
  6. 6
Exit the lookout via the steps. Your rival will stop you and ask Bianca for his own Pokédex and starter Pokémon, which he receives. As you descend the steps again, your rival will stop you once more to battle.
  7. 7
Use the Tackle move until your opponent is defeated. Your opponent will likely use a passive move, allowing you to gain an advantage and win before they defeat you. Winning will grant your Pokémon enough EXP to reach Level 6 or almost Level 7. Losing is not detrimental at this early stage.
  8. 8
After the battle, your rival will leave. Bianca will then take you to the Pokémon Center. Inside, your Pokémon will be healed, and Bianca will give you a tour explaining Pokémon healing, the PC, and the Poké Mart. She will then give you ten Poke Balls.
