Keeper Flying creature (Fly) details: cheap but weak, explores dungeons, and can be used for infection tactics against opponents.
The Fly is the first creature you will encounter in Keeper. Flies are very weak and are hardly of any use later in the game. If you acquire a Fly in later levels, you can slap it nearly to death and put it in the Torture/Graveyard for a stronger undead creature. The Fly, however, never seems to get irritated so it's easy to please at all times.
Another tactic with the Fly for later levels is that you can infect it with "Disease" and have it fly off towards your opponent. It will get killed, no doubt, but if your enemy doesn't have a Temple (a building that can cure diseases), then they are going to lose all their creatures because of the infection. If there are some Spiders in the neighborhood, keep them away from the Flies as they will attack each other head-on when forced to share the same lair. You could not interfere and let the better of the two win, which is typically the Spider (unless it's a level 10 Fly against a level 1 Spider). But dead bodies can annoy your creatures quite a lot, so it's better to remove the Fly from your dungeon.
- Flies are very weak and not useful in later stages of Keeper.
- Consider using the Torture/Graveyard to create stronger undead creatures from weakened Flies.
- Infect Flies with "Disease" to use them as carriers against opponents without a Temple.
- Keep Flies away from Spiders to prevent them from attacking each other, unless you want to risk a fight where the Spider usually wins.
- Remove dead Flies from your dungeon to prevent annoyance to your other creatures.
