Armor in Helldivers 2 consists of three pieces: Helmet, Body Armor, and Cape. Only the Body Armor provides stats and a unique 'Armor Perk'. Stats include Armor Rating (damage reduction), Speed (movement speed), and Stamina Regeneration. Armor Perks offer significant bonuses, such as 'Democracy Protects' (50% chance to not die from lethal damage), 'Fortified' (reduced recoil while crouching/prone), or 'Scout' (reduced enemy detection range). Choose armor that complements your playstyle and chosen Stratagems. For example, a heavy armor with 'Fortified' is great for a Sentry build, while light armor with 'Scout' is good for stealthy objectives.
