How to Beat Terminid: Bile Titan

Learn the best strategies and weaknesses to effectively defeat Bile Titans in Helldivers 2. Master this challenging enemy and secure victory for Super Earth.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Armor: Extremely high on most of its body.
• Weak Points: Head and glowing yellow sacs on its back and abdomen. These take significantly more damage.
• Attacks: Bile spew (long-range AoE), charge attacks, ground slams, and summoning smaller enemies.

Phases:

1. Approach: The Bile Titan lumbers towards the player, often accompanied by smaller Terminids. It will begin using its bile spew attack.
2. Engagement: The Bile Titan will use a wider range of attacks, including charges and ground slams, while continuing its bile spew. This is when it's most dangerous.
3. Enraged/Near Death: May become more aggressive, spew bile more frequently, or attempt to charge more often. Its weak points may glow brighter.

Strategy:

• Target Weak Points: Prioritize shooting the head and the glowing yellow sacs. Use weapons that deal high damage or explosive damage to these areas. The Eruptor, Railgun (unsafe mode), and Anti-Materiel Rifle are effective.
• Utilize Stratagems: Heavy-hitting Stratagems like the 500kg Bomb, Eagle Airstrike, or Orbital Laser are excellent for dealing massive damage or staggering the Bile Titan. The Gatling or Autocannon Sentry can also provide sustained fire on weak points.
• Mobility and Cover: Constantly move and use the environment for cover to avoid its bile attacks and charges. Do not stand still.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with your squad. Designate roles: some players focus on distracting the Bile Titan, while others focus fire on its weak points.
• Clear Adds: Bile Titans often spawn smaller enemies. Ensure these are dealt with quickly to avoid being overwhelmed.
• Staggering: Sustained fire on weak points can stagger the Bile Titan, interrupting its attacks and giving you an opening.
