Pinging Enemies and Objectives on the Minimap

Pinging locations on the map alerts your fellow Helldivers to specific enemy groups or objectives. This is vital for coordinated assaults and preventing squad members from straying off-task. If voice chat isn't an option, marking and pinging are your best tools.

Controls for Pinging and Marking Locations on PC

• Ping Location: Look at the objective, enemy, or location you want to highlight and press the Q key. A brief ping will appear for approximately 6 seconds.
• Mark Location on Minimap: Press Tab to open the minimap. Hold down the right mouse button while moving the mouse to navigate the map. Click the left mouse button to place a marker, which will remain until a new one is placed.
