Complete Stages 31-40 of Trial Mode in final fantasy xii, facing enemies like Zalera, Marilith, and Adrammelech. Learn drops and strategies.

Stage 31 - Apsara (Optional), Bansat, Seeq Fisher x4

This stage features Bansat, who previously assisted with the Gil Snapper hunt, alongside four Seeq Fishers. All enemies in this stage are weak to fire. The Seeq Fishers have Reflect active from the start, so use Dispel before casting magic. An optional enemy, Apsara, can be found by going straight from the start, past water puddles, and behind a large black rock. Apsara can drop a Diamond Shield (uncommon) or Platinum Armor (rare). You can steal a Power Rod (uncommon) or Multiscale (rare) from Apsara. Bansat can be stolen from for a Cura Mote, and Seeq Fishers can be stolen from for Gravity Motes. Drops from this stage include Diamond Shield, Platinum Armor, Elixir, and Dark Matter from Apsara. Other drops include Steel Gorget, Argyle Armlet, Traveler, Tourmaline Ring, and Balaclava when wearing a Diamond Armlet. Potion, Cura Mote, Gravity Mote, Hi-Ether, and Hi-Potion can also be found in chests.

Stage 32 - Zalera, Dead Bones x4 (Optional)

You will face the Esper Zalera, accompanied by Dead Bones. Focus on Zalera, but eliminate the Dead Bones as they boost Zalera's defenses. Zalera is weak to Holy and resistant to other elements. Zalera primarily inflicts status ailments, including Lv. 2 Sleep, Lv. 3 Disable, Lv. 4 Break, Lv. 5 Reverse, and Confuse. His attacks include Kill for instant death, and Level Prime Death, which targets characters with prime-numbered levels. You can steal Time Bolts, Doom Mace, or Hunting Crossbow from Zalera. Chests contain Bio Mote, Scathe Mote, and Nu Khai Sand. Wearing a Diamond Armlet may yield Disable, Leather Gorget, and Windbreaker.

Stage 33 - Scythe Mantis x4

These are standard enemies identical to their counterparts in the main game. Chests contain Eye Drops and Hastega Mote. You can steal Gravity Mote and Shock Mote. Bubble Mote can be poached. Wearing a Diamond Armlet may yield Wizard’s Hat and Wyrmfire Shot.

Stage 34 - Marilith, Bogey x3 (Optional)

The Marilith is the same boss from the mark mission in the main game and has several dangerous attacks, requiring ample healing. Bogeys spawn as you explore and can rarely drop the Iga Blade. You can steal Platinum Shield, Platinum Helm, or Platinum Armor from Marilith. Bogeys can be poached for Bubble Mote and can drop Iga Blade and Dark Matter. Chests contain Soleil Fang and Domaine Calvados. Wearing a Diamond Armlet may yield Aqua, Wizard’s Robes. Bogeys can also be stolen from for Gravity Mote and Reverse Mote.

Stage 35 - Adrammelech, Skulwyrm x2 (Optional)

Adrammelech is a flying enemy, so only magicks, ranged weapons, certain technicks, and poles/spears will deal damage. Its attacks can cause Sap and Bleed. Its other skills are lightning-elemental; equipping items like Diamond Armlets can help. Adrammelech uses Perfect Defense, preventing damage temporarily, and its special move, Thundaja, can inflict Stop. You can steal Ras Algethi, Traitor’s Bow, or Rubber Suit from Adrammelech. Skulwyrms can be poached for Balance Mote and drop Platinum Sword and Dark Matter. Chests contain Phoenix Down, Potion, Ether, and Bio Mote. Wearing a Diamond Armlet may yield Barbut, Rose Corsage, Gauntlets, and Oil Bombs.

Stage 36 - Dreadguard, Mirrorknight x4

Mirrorknights are best defeated with physical attacks. Chests contain Meteorite (A) and Potion, Ether. You can steal Float Mote, Reflectga Mote, and Reverse Mote from Dreadguard. Mirrorknights can be stolen from for Reflectga Mote. Wearing a Diamond Armlet may yield Black Belt, Raise, and Linen Cuirass.

Stage 37 - Behemoth x5

Use Protect and ensure good defense to withstand their potent attacks. Chests contain Balance Mote and Ether. You can steal Hammerhead from Behemoths. Wearing a Diamond Armlet may yield Amber Armlet and Round Shield.

Stage 38 - Mythril Golem x3

These are straightforward enemies with no significant treasure. Chests contain Bio Mote and Hi-Ether. You can steal Hastega Mote and Gold Hairpin. Wearing a Diamond Armlet may yield Miter and Steel Poleyns.
