Alright, so you're diving into Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age and want to know about the side stuff, right? The main side content here is called Hunts, and they're a pretty big deal. Tackling all of them is one of the game's tougher challenges, but trust me, it's totally worth it. You'll snag some of the best gear in the game, and Hunts are also a fantastic way to rack up Gil, which can be a bit scarce sometimes.

To even get started with Hunts, you'll need to play through the story a bit until Migelo sends you to a tavern early on. Once that happens, you can head to any local tavern and check the Notice Board. If a Hunt is available, you'll see it there.

After you accept a Hunt from the board, your next step is crucial: find the petitioner. This person is listed on the Hunt bill, and you *have* to talk to them before the actual target, the 'Mark,' will even show up in the game world, even if you know exactly where it is. Once you find the petitioner, they'll give you some hints about where to find your Mark, or you can just follow along with this guide.

There are 32 standard Notice Board Hunts, but that's not all! You'll also unlock even deadlier Hunts later on. About the time you defeat the Rogue Tomato, you'll run into Clan Centurio and their leader, Montblanc, at the Clan Hall. He'll let you join the clan, and that opens up his special 'Elite Marks.' There are 13 of these, and they include some seriously tough battles. Just like the regular Hunts, you'll need to find the petitioner (sometimes it's Montblanc himself!) before the Mark appears. Make sure you're fully prepped for these – you'll need the best party setups and often have to go way off the beaten path to even find them.
