Ozmone Plain

The Ozmone Plain is a lush, green area featuring new monsters and some loot. It is divided into the Field of Fallen Wings and Dagan Flats.

Field of Fallen Wings

This area introduces several new monsters:

• Ozmone Hare: Similar to the Giza Hare, these docile creatures heal players when injured. They can drop Braid Wool, Water Magicite, a Teleport Stone, or an Aero Mote. Steal Water Magicite, 150 Gil, or a Golden Helm. Poach for Braid Wool or a Balance Mote. Weak to Fire.
• Zaghnal: Resembling Werewolves, these enemies are around level 25 with over 3,000 HP. They use melee attacks and Ram. Drops include Earth Magicite, Quality Hide, a Warp Mote, or a Hi-Potion. Steal Earth Magicite or a Gemini Gem. Poach for Quality Hide or a Tanned Giantskin. Weak to Wind.
• Zu: Flying beasts much weaker than Dive Talons. They can inflict Slow and use Kamikaze. Requires ranged attacks or specific abilities to hit. Drops include Large Feather, Wing Magicite, a Wizard’s Staff, or a Remedy. Steal Wind Magicite or a Larger Feather. Poach for Large Feathers and Giant Feathers. Weak to Earth.
• Mesmenir: Stronger versions of Sleipnirs, with more HP and Attack Power. They use melee attacks, Kick, and Spike Cutter. Drops include Iron Carapace, Storm Magicite, a Bronze Mace, or Echo Herbs. Steal Storm Magicite or an Aries Gem. Poach for Iron Carapace or a Destrier Mane. Weak to Ice.
• Viper: Appear identical to Wildsnakes but are more powerful. They use melee attacks, Gnaw, and Spiral Cut. They gain an evasion bonus at low HP. Drops include Tanned Hide, Dark Magicite, Quality Hide, or a Serpent Rod. Steal Dark Magicite or an Alarm Clock. Poach for Tanned Hide or a Hi-Potion. Weak to Holy.

Loot in Ozmone Plain is scarce but can be valuable:

• On the western end, an urn may contain Chainmail.
• On the eastern end, near a passage to Dagan Flats, an urn may contain a Heavy Lance.

Dagan Flats

This area is accessible from the eastern end of Ozmone Plain and is exclusively populated by Zaghnals and Zus. It contains no notable loot. There are two area transitions: one west to The Switchback and one east to the Field of Light Winds.
