Cuphead's arsenal is diverse, offering a range of weapons that cater to different playstyles and combat scenarios. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each weapon is crucial for adapting to the game's challenging boss encounters and Run & Gun levels.

Players start with the Peashooter but can purchase several other unique weapons from Porkrind's Emporium using collected coins. Each weapon has a distinct firing pattern, damage output, and strategic application, making loadout choices a key element of Cuphead's gameplay.

Available Weapons:

• Peashooter: The default weapon. Fires a rapid stream of straight-line projectiles. Reliable and versatile, excellent for learning boss patterns due to its consistent damage and ease of use. Its EX move is a powerful, long-range beam.
• Spread: Fires a wide, short-range burst of projectiles. Deals high damage up close but has limited range. Ideal for bosses that allow players to get near them or for clearing groups of enemies quickly. Its EX move is a large, damaging burst.
• Chaser: Fires slow-moving, homing projectiles that automatically track enemies. Deals lower damage per shot but allows players to focus entirely on dodging. Useful for bosses with complex attack patterns or when mobility is paramount. Its EX move is a barrage of homing shots.
• Lobber: Shoots arcing projectiles that deal significant damage upon impact. The projectiles bounce once before detonating. Effective against stationary or slow-moving targets, and can hit enemies behind cover. Its EX move is a large, damaging lobbed projectile.
• Charge: Allows players to charge their shots for increased damage. Holding the fire button charges the shot, releasing it fires a powerful blast. Requires precise timing but can deal massive damage. Its EX move is a charged shot that pierces enemies.
