Converge is a potent new weapon introduced in The Delicious Last Course DLC for Cuphead. Its unique firing mechanic allows for a wide, spread-out attack that can be incredibly effective for covering large areas and dealing damage to multiple targets simultaneously.

The Converge weapon fires a cluster of projectiles that spread out as they travel. This makes it ideal for situations where you need to hit a broad area or when facing enemies that are difficult to target precisely. Its effectiveness lies in its ability to saturate a space with damage.

How Converge Works:

• Firing Pattern: When fired, Converge launches a volley of projectiles that fan out in a wide arc. The further the projectiles travel, the wider the spread becomes.
• Damage Potential: While individual projectiles may not deal massive damage, the sheer number of hits that can land on a single target, especially at medium range, can result in significant damage output.
• Range Effectiveness: Converge is most effective at medium range, where its projectiles have enough distance to spread out and maximize their coverage. At close range, the spread is tighter, and at extreme long range, the projectiles may dissipate before hitting their mark.

Strategic Applications:

• Bosses with Large Hitboxes: Enemies like Glumstone Giant or Mortimer Freeze, who present large targets, are excellent candidates for Converge. You can consistently land multiple hits with each volley.
• Crowd Control: In scenarios where you're facing numerous smaller enemies, the wide spread of Converge can efficiently clear them out, allowing you to focus on more pressing threats.
• Area Denial: The fanning projectiles can create a zone of damage, making it hazardous for enemies to approach you.
• Complementary Weapon: Converge pairs well with weapons that offer focused damage, such as the Peashooter or Crackshot. Use Converge for area coverage and crowd control, and switch to the other weapon for precise targeting of weak points.
