Locate all five Energy Tanks in Metroid: Other M. This guide details the exact locations and required abilities for each tank, including Main Sector, Sector 1, and Sector 2.

This section details the locations of all five Energy Tanks found in Metroid: Other M. Each tank requires specific abilities to acquire.

• Energy Tank #1 — Location: Main Sector - "Electrical Access", just outside the System Management Room. Required: Normal Bombs. This tank is found automatically while rolling into the tunnel leading to the System Management Room and cannot be missed.
• Energy Tank #2 — Location: Sector 1 - "Maintenance Track", a large curved room in the northeast where the second Groganch is fought. Required: Diffusion Beam. After entering the ball tunnels, a junction allows you to drop to a lower tunnel where the tank is visible.
• Energy Tank #3 — Location: Sector 2 - "Frozen Pit", a room with a large central pit where the first Gigafraug is fought. Required: Speed Booster. After Shinesparking to the far end, head to the right edge of the platform. A ball tunnel behind an ice pillar leads to the tank.
• Energy Tank #4 — Location: Sector 2 - "Mountain Slope", a large slope at the north end of the sector, shortly after the Ferrocrusher fight. Required: Speed Booster. The tank is in plain sight behind the next door at the top of the slope.
• Energy Tank #5 — Location: Sector 3 - "Geothermal Power Plant", a room just before the fight with Ridley. Required: Grapple Beam. This tank is placed directly in front of the door to the next room.
