Walkthrough
- 1Use Sense Move (a special evasive maneuver) to dodge exclusively left or right.
- 2If Gravity Spheres (projectiles that slowly chase you) appear, use them to build your charge.
- 3Charge your Beam (weapon) as much as possible.
- 4When Nightmare falls down, move away from its previous projectiles and get a clear shot in Search View (a targeting mode).
- 5Fire Super Missiles to knock Nightmare to the ground.
- 6If done correctly, Nightmare will be killed in less than one minute without a chance to reactivate its device.
- 7If Nightmare can manipulate gravity again, repeat the process.
- 8Warning: If the fight drags on too long, Nightmare will create a Gravity Well (an area that attracts attacks).
- 9If a Gravity Well is active, either shoot when you are close to Nightmare or when Nightmare is between you and the Well.
- 10If the Gravity Well explodes by itself, ignore it.
- 11If Nightmare places the Gravity Well directly beneath it, use Space Jump (a high jump ability) toward Nightmare and unleash a charge shot at point-blank range.
- 12Eventually, Nightmare will be defeated.
Collectibles and Navigation:
- [MT35] Return to the Grapple Point (a point to attach your grapple beam) in the Gravity Area, swing left, and kick climb up to obtain a Missile Tank (an item that increases your missile capacity).
- [ER02] In the room containing two Kyratians (enemies), you can now reach the bright purple E-Recovery Tank (an item that restores your energy) in plain sight.
- Speed Boost (a rapid movement ability) through the next hallway.
- When you start moving right, Speed Boost again and Shinespark (a powerful burst of speed) straight up at the end of the hall.
- [MT36] In the room with frozen fans, destroy the frozen ice on the ceiling in the back if you have not already.
- Speed Boost down the center of the room, between the red lights on the floor.
- Shinespark straight up and hold up once you pass the indentation in the floor.
- Enter the vent and collect the Missile Tank.
- [MT37] Jump across the hole in the vent and roll all the way back to collect another Missile Tank.
- Drop out of the vent and continue.
- Heading towards the elevator, Speed Boost up the large ramp and Shinespark left to save time.
- You can also Speed Boost through the end of this room into the Navigation Booth and Shinespark past the Baristute (an enemy).
- Reach the Main Sector with 56% of the items collected.
