Alright, let's talk about the Yangtze system in Mass Effect: Legendary Edition. It's not a place you can just warp into; you'll need to get a couple of assignments done first.

To even get started with Yangtze, you first need to complete the assignment UNC: Missing Marines. Once that's wrapped up, you'll need to head over to Edolus in the Sparta system. After you've reported back to Admiral Kahoku about what you found on Edolus, keep an ear out. When you're cruising around in the Normandy later, he'll contact you, kicking off the UNC: Cerberus assignment. That's your ticket to exploring what Yangtze has to offer.

Once you're cleared to explore Yangtze, you'll find the system has a few key locations, especially around the planet Binthu. The main things to keep an eye out for are three Research Facilities. You'll find one located just west of the center on the map, another to the northeast, and a third one down to the south. Your job is to clear out all three of these facilities to wrap up the UNC: Cerberus assignment. Successfully doing this will then trigger the next assignment, UNC: Hades’ Dogs.
